I'm getting all the alerts for Oklahoma and Texas OUTSIDE my immediate area, but NONE for my immediate area. What do I need to do to fix this? Otherwise, I'm pretty happy with the app. At least I know my family in Oklahoma is safe, but I live in Stephenville, TX. UPDATE: I keep getting severe weather notifications, but when I click on them, I get "All is Well". What the heck???

T70%
by T####:

I'd give this app 5 stars if I could figure out how to turn off notifications for my old location. I have cleared the cache, I have removed it from my locations, i checked the settings, and I have even deleted and redownloaded the app and no matter what I still get weather notifications from Florida when I now reside in Georgia. There's nothing like waking up at 2 am with a LOUD alarming tornado warning alert that has absolutely nothing to do with my area.

by Y####:

Downloaded the app and setup mine and surrounding counties for tornado warnings, although I got the warnings about 5 hours after the warning was issued. Didn't work for me. Sticking with a good old fashioned NOAA radio.

U70%
by U####:

The alerts for severe weather are great. I generally get notices before the tv or sirens go off. I think the quizzes are broken keeps telling me I got the answer wrong but proceeds to tell me it's what I selected.

Y70%
by Y####:

Nice features for free app, but doesn't work. Received notification for warnings I disabled 5 hours after they expired. Glad I didn't have to wit for a tornado warning to realize it isn't working properly.

Y70%
by Y####:

I think this app is worthless. You can't set distance for your alerts and the stupid thing will wake you up at 2 in the morning for a tornado that's nowhere near where you are fix it and I'll come back otherwise I'm gone

Y70%
by Y####:

It is a useful app, but often times it will just erase all the locations I had saved, which is really annoying since I then need to add them all again. The only other negative thing about it is that they have these little knowledge tests, which are soooo cheesy. It's like: what are the signs of an approaching tornado? One of the answers was spontaneous singing! If you guessed that, you are really lacking common sense. I'm a meteorology hobbyist, so these were things I already know, but anyone would pass that test. Perhaps there could be some real questions? Overall, I like what the app does, but it could use some improvements.

I70%
by I####:

It says it can't send reports and when I add my address it says it failed. It won't save it. Very frustrating.

by Y####:

Love this app! I was involved in a tornado recently and this app alerted me before any other source. I had time to prepare my family for what was coming. Thank you Red Cross!

Y70%
by Y####:

Refuses to respect me specifically turning off location tracking. Insists on turning it back on immediately. Doesn't even update the widget, just starts polling GPS again. Not shady at all.

Y70%
by Y####:

No sound alerts...No alert at all even though we are in the midst of a thunderstorm. Useless app! Don't bother with it.

G70%
by G####:

Years later, nothing has changed. REAL tornado sirens are whisper quiet from my upstairs bedroom even when I'm NOT asleep with the fan on. That's why I need this. But the only way to have the alerts be loud enough to wake me up is by having my notification volume so loud that my phone screams at me every time I get an email or text or some silly game wants me to come back. Can you PLEASE add the option to use ringtone volume, or adjust volume settings specifically for this app? In Kansas, something like this is crucial, but it shouldn't have to be unbearable too.

Worked great through the daytime with storms but did not send an alert for severe storms in the middle of the night. I guess the guy who pushes the alert was sleeping on the job....Not deleting yet because it has proven itself to be valuable in the past just has a glitch right now.

Y70%
by Y####:

This app used to be great. Now I get the warnings, but when I try to bring them up, I get " Failed to Load". I've emailed them twice and no response.

I70%
by I####:

Annoying it gave warnings false mostly. I hate being disturbed for some storm 20 miles away that has no impact on my life. It ought to warn when 1 mile of location not more.

P70%
by P####:

Had a tornado warning at midnight and app never went off. It just went off at 7 am for that warning. Good thing I was already awake when we had the warning.

Y70%

Just downloaded it, so I will update my rating once the night of thunderstorms goes through and I see how well it alerts me.

M70%

Tornado warnings issued at 12:04am didn't show up until 7:25am. Not very timely information!

Z70%
by Z####:

It gives accurate info. However, it gives notifications 45 mins from my home, which is nerve wracking when it is a tornado warning

Y70%
by Y####:

I never get any type of alert. I can be clearly in a thunderstorm and I will receive nothing. I will enter the app and still nothing. If I can't get alert this app is useless.

Y70%
by Y####:

Had been working well, but today the alert arrived 8 hours late. Not real useful at this point.

Y70%
by Y####:

The alerts went off long after the warning was over with. Absolutely useless

I live where normally we don't have tornados but past couple years have seen funnel clouds over the valley. To my knowledge this watning app is all we have here. Nice.

Y70%

Appreciate larger font size. I had two places set for alerts, but now I need to drop one. I can't get this app to stop sending me alerts for a location I don't care about even though I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and added only my current location. Any tips?

Very up to the minutes. Much better then it used to be. I've used it since it 1st came out. I live in AL and it has been a great help cuz it is more accurate than the county sirens. I love that you don't have to set up an account too!

This app has worked well in the past. However, I just received a notification for a tornado warning that expired at 6am. It would have been nice to have gotten the alert when there was an actual threat. Not sure what has changed, but the app is obviously not working correctly. I will not be uninstalling yet, in hopes that this issue gets fixed.

This is definitely a useful app. Unfortunately alerts go off for Richmond, Ky and Louisville,Ky when the only place I have listed to track is Galloway, Oh. I do have family in both those cities in KY, but my phone is going off nonstop tonight with tornado warnings that aren't close to where I am. How do I keep the alerts from happening for other places?

Y70%
by Y####:

I am looking for an app that will alert me if there is a tornado watch or warning, I live in the Midwest and this is important. I do not want constant alerts for thunderstorms, we get them all the time and I don't need to know about it. I can not find any way to select only alerts for tornados so I decided to uninstall. Very disappointed.

by Y####:

2 problems for me. It used to give me notifications, but now it doesn't, and it's supposed to, I checked application manager but it said it should be. Also I get the quiz questions correct for 3 days if water thing, but it says it's wrong and tells me thing again!!!

National weather service issued a tornado warning in my area at 3:09am, 6 hours later this app decides to let me know. Constantly says there's an error on the server. Will be removing. Does NOT work!

K70%

Keeps alerting me about thunderstorms when I have that disabled. I have location tracking disabled and I'm only monitoring Nashville. In the Nashville configuration settings, I have thunderstorm alert settings disabled. I keep getting notified of thunderstorms outside of my notification area hundreds of miles away.

Y70%
by Y####:

Worse app imaginable. Better chances of looking outside and seeing a tornado than getting an alert. I've has multiple tornado warnings and alot of severe thunderstorms here in Ohio and the app never gave an alert. I live in the country with no alarms so thankfully we have cable tv to get our alerts.

Y70%
by Y####:

The loud alert to wake us in the middle of the night is great. However, it keeps going off LONG AFTER the warning has expired. It went off at 6 am for a warning that expired before midnight. This happens repeatedly. Please fix this so that expired warnings stop triggering get alerts.

I was Traveling through Georgia during severe weather when I found this application. Trusted source and to the point critical information required to keep you informed in near real time of what is happening with the weather, tornado specific. Good application for keeping track of tornado related data.
