Emergency - American Red Cross for Android
Best app! I can keep up with family and friends all over and we can easily let each other know we're safe - love this app!
A little fiddly, but does what it says on the tin, and more. Controls could use polish, but it works.
Not receiving any alerts....period. Used to get alerts but not anymore :(
I really thi k this could be a great app. But someone needs to fix the bugs in it because 95% of the time when you get an alert it will not load the page!, now I have alerts set all over the U.S. so I don't know where the hell the alert is going off if I cannot load it up to view can i! Fix it please before I look else where for a diff. App.
When I first downloaded this app it worked great. Now I receive multiple alerts and every time I try to read them it says, 'Page failed to load'. It is very frustrating when you get alerts about storms or possible tornados in the area and you can't read them. I am very tempted to uninstall this app if the issue is not fixed.
This app used to work very well. Now when I try to read a notice for emergency details, all I get is 'failed to load page'. I'm tempted to uninstall because what's the point of app taking up storage space when it won't give me vital emergency info...?
I get the alerts but when I push the notification to get further info, it says "failed to load page". What's the point of an alert if I can't read the alert. As of this point it's only good for the tips on what to do before, during, and after an emergency. Seriously considering uninstalling!
The previous version was wonderful! It was an invaluable resource. With the new update, I get 4-5 of the same alerts at a time, and then the actual alert page fails to load. I've had to turn off the alerts until the next update hopefully fixes this.
Warnings are redundant for ex I get 3 to 5 alerts of same condition it seems in text. Definitely needs easier way to delete or modify settings. Ex is I can't find a way to delete people I want to warn. Good is alerts are updated quickly as conditions change.
Every time I get an alert, I get the same one repeatedly. When I click the alerts, it won't load the info, so I sometimes don't know which of my areas it applies to. I also can't find a way to turn the volume off of change the alert noise, so it startles me every time!
The quizzes tell you that you had the wrong answer even when you put exactly what it says! I took the drought one and it was only on the third time with the same exact answers that it said I did it correctly.
Was a nice app for keeping track of areas and family and friends weather emergency situations. I get the Warnings and alerts but when I tap on it to read the alert, all I get is "Failed to load" message.
The older version was PERFECT. Now when I attempt to load an emergency alert it says that it cannot load the page. Given we live in a tornado prone region it's nice to know where the warnings are, and I've lost that ability
I can't believe people are complaining about getting TO MANY WARNING ALERTS! Send me add many as possible, me being a hard working tax payer I tend to do this crazy thing called SLEEP!!! If It's lights out and I'm sawing logs I might not hear that one or two messages. Hell tell me somebody who hasn't slept through their alarm clock going off... How's that going to work our for you when your sleeping through a TORNADO WARNING? It just goes to show no matter what, some people will ALWAYS FIND SOMETHING TO CRY AND COMPLAIN ABOUT.
The app gives me weather alert notifications but when i click thr notification to read the details i keep getting "page failed to load" error. This used to be a great app.
It use to work well. But now 99% of the time,It will not load the page. What good is that
Alert pages do not load so you have no idea what the emergency is or where it is. Usless
This app continually fails to open, resulting extremely little information to act on. Would not recommend it.
It has a severe error. The page doesn't load so the alerts are useless. I'm deleting it.
I've been getting Tornado Warnings all afternoon but I can't read any of them because I only get the error "failed to load page".
I get brief notifications, but when I try to open them to read, I continually get a message that says "failed to load."
I just installed it andso far all is aell. I am looking for a built in way to share this with family members but can't find that. Lol, of all the apps that id like to tell others. About this is tops. . I do hope to get timely warnings WHEN TRAVELING. We'll see.
Used to work great. Now it won't load anything when I get an alert. Uninstalled and now use the FEMA app
Just rec'd a tornado WARNING. Try to look up any more info, get "The page failed to load"---How in the hell is this helpful? Fix it it or I lose it.
I was under tornado warning earlier this morning and now a warning. None of the alerts will open. Not at all helpful.
Alot of bugs to fix won't load any warning details only says one was made
I set Bogoslof Volcano and it has been erupting but no alerts. Other than that alerts are working for everything else.
It used to work fine and now it fails to load alerts. Does not work at all.
This app is very helpful. But I can not get the old alerts off my alert app.how do I get the old once out . ?????
Fails to Load Page for all alerts. Not helpful at all.
When the TV & Radio are OFF, this app keeps you informed of severe weather and more.
It has a siren that's very helpful and until this morning it hasn't failed by informing me when the TV or radio wasn't on.
App fails to provide complete alert. It fails every time.
Saved us when we had an unexpected tornado come through. Great app
I still love it. I would like to see the maps app offered separately. Also to include on the map the reason for a shelter: fire, cooling, etc.
Did not give me sound notifications please fix
It is a great app and the notifications are great but every time I try to look at the notification it says 'Failed to load page'
fix the failed to load bug and it will go back to 5 star
I am always inundated with endless number of notifications until a monitored threat in my selected 20 mile radius is over. It would be great if there is a way to acknowledge/snooze a given threat once (or once every x number of hours) instead of being bombarded by dozens of alerts each day. Otherwise, very useful app.

Alerts are good, tools fall short. The alerts for things like tornado and severe weather look good, although it is hard to test them unless you are in an alerted area. The tools section is weaker. The "I'm Safe" function just helps you generate your own message with a location, then sends you to your text or email client to send it. The maps function shows shelters with addresses but is not clear on whether those shelters are open, or not.
