Doesn't allow me to watch anything. Keeps crashing TV selection ànd on demand àre just plàin crappy. Not much of selection for on demànd. Customer service is à joke and they screw up on billing consistantly. Seems CS has no clue o. Their job. Stopping service going back to previous provider. I thought they were bad. Grass was dead insteàd of greener on the otherside.

That anything could be worse than their customer service group, but this app is it. The release notes say this version has improved login - the improvement is that you can no longer login at all. I guess it's an improvement in the sense that I won't waste any more time dealing with the terrible UI. Uninstall.

They need to hire someone to fix this app. If your out and about and need to schedule a recording or two, it would be quicker to drive home and do it than use this app. UPDATE... Just keeps getting worse. I think someone at centurylink hired their cousin or something. SERIOUSLY!!! I could write a better app in a week easy peasy!

What can I say that hasn't already been said in all these bad reviews. The app is horrible and barely functions. The service itself is sub par to everyone else. As soon as the contract is up, I'm gone and never looking back.

Just does not work takes forever to load that is if it does at all. If I could give no stars I would. See the thing is they do not care cause what other option do you have. Always fails to load live listing, guide is a blank page, To sum it up useless. Going to un-install and find a friend with Comcast and use that app it also does not use the home network so all shows are available all the time. Liking Prism less and less every day.

The app is useless. It's as good as CenturyLink's customer service or billing department if you ever had the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with them. Despite the numerous 1 star reviews CenturyLink doesn't do anything about it. Funny thing is, you'll continue to get notifications to watch this show or watch this. But the app doesn't work to watch those shows. At this point I can't even login. Says, "we're having technical difficulties try again in 10 minutes." The app just takes up space.

Flat out doesn't work. No response from support. I would be embarrassed to be associated with this debacle. In fact I don't know how I could get out of bed every day knowing that I had to go to work for a company that has completely failed at every level. Otherwise this is a great app!

Update for newer version: much the same. harder to login. harder to see what is on in the next several hours. It takes several minutes to load When it does the user interface is horrible (only a bit better than the on demand interface on the TV). Fix the app or remove it. It only makes you look bad when you are a content provider that cannot provide content.

I really wish I could give no stars. App doesn't work period. I ended up deleting from my phone because if this and will delete from my tablet as well. Dumbest and most useless app I've ever encountered, much like the customer service and billing at Centurylink.

I have had prism tv for 3 weeks. Still can't use this app on my galaxy phone. Get the same "tech difficulties" message as others. Customer support says they just need to update a setting on my account but for some reason they need to "escalate" the issue to make that change. Each time they claim i will get a call and/or it will be resolved in 48 hours. Three such escalations and still nothing. I can't even get the app to install at all on my Kindle where it is also supposed to work.

Not very user friendly. Why can't I just swipe in the guide to go to a different date and time instead of having to open a menu and select a date and time? Once I actually get where I'm trying to go, setting the dvr is easy and does exactly what it's supposed to but it takes forever to get there. Also, one of the reasons I switched to Century Link is because I was told I would be able to watch live tv away from home, not just select shows and channels-all of them.

App no longer allows me to stream live TV. While at home, it claims I am not on my home network yet I can pair it with my STB and use it as a remote. Poor execution all around from Prism TV. Can't wait to get rid of this amateur service.

I would love to watch TV, yet I never can through this app or online. Who knew century link could continue to prove that it is the worst network to chose out of them all. Pathetic. Make something that works if your going to advertise TV everywhere.

I didn't think anything could be worse than centurylink prism billing and customer service. I've had issues for 6 months with bills being wrong and over charged. Customer service has no idea what they are doing! Even had one make up a depart he said I needed, to be told it doesn't exist. Can't you people get anything right!?? Stupid app say no Internet connection try again and boots you out.. Funny part centurylink it says I'm connected on my phone so why don't you make up more lies. Fix this crappy app!!!

I'm sitting in my recliner testing the app and I can't even watch tonight's college game on abc .. worthless app and provider. I wouldn't recommend either..

Support for this app is non-existent. Tried contacting their customer service and was told I had to specifically contact another department that they couldn't connect me to. That department then told me they'd have to create a ticket and it would be resolved in about 48 hours. Never heard back, and issue wasn't resolved for MONTHS. Even when the app works, a lot of the features are useless. For example, the option to stay signed in does NOTHING. I can sign in to the app, choose to stay signed in for 30 days, then within hours I have to sign in again. Love the idea of this app, and maybe someday it might work. Until then, it's a complete waste of space.

Having an app that displays tv programs doesn't seem complicated. So far the app will display My Guide and can set recording, but alas no ability to watch a show.

This app does not now and has never worked since I first downloaded it a month ago. Trying to sign in to add a Roku channel gets a 'technical difficulty' error and try back in 10 minutes. A month later, and same error. I get exactly the same error on every device I have tried it on-- iPad, Android phone and Roku. Multiple calls, e-mails and visits to the CenturyLink store have resulted in no solution. There is nothing about this error on the CenturyLink site, and chats with CenturyLink have provided a variety of answers, none that worked, and phone numbers given for tech support for this were wrong and required more than half an hour of waiting to find out I had the wrong people. The Prism TV tech support chat that is supposed to open is not, and what should be an easy process that every other Roku channel I have has no problem with simply won't work with no way to figure out whom to ask to get help. Hideous. Foul Putrid. Stink. This app sucks and should be stricken from the Interwebs, Horrid.

Was NEVER that good to begin with. Would work 20% of the time. Only on the same network (home). Than not even on the home network. Uninstalled & reinstalled still not working. Just Uninstalled.

I'm not sure why it took me 3 months to uninstall this monstrosity, but I finally did. All it has said for literally as long as I can remember is something about technical difficulties and to try again in 10 minutes... Well it's been over 3 months now CenturyLink, your 10 minutes is long passed. My phone works better as a towel than this app does at all. Update: can I get my money back for whatever portion of my bill goes to maintaining mobile services?

Unable to watch anything on it. I'm unable to launch it now because it needs access to my media and phone. Why the heck do you need access to that? Its none if your business. You can have location but I refuse to grant you access to my media and phone. Fix that and I will adjust my review!

Never stays logged in. possibly the worst ui ever. UPDATE: After a long break i forgot how bad this app was, and decided to look again... yup. still terrible.

No issue with the TV or internet service, but this app...flat out doesn't work. I can't even login. Dumbfounded how a company has enough capital to build out a network, but can't make a usuable app. Prism, go find and throw a couple bucks at the guy who made Angry Birds and get this fixed.

As a techie. App works flawlessly on my galaxy note 5, galaxy tab S in WiFi or 4G. Prism TV is built on Microsoft mediaroom technology which is an IP Multicast video backend. GIGABIT ip with IPTV works blazingly fast, destroying anything ive ever had. Problem is the horrid UX on the Centurylink website making it tedious to manage service like email or bill. If anything i would give the technology 4 stars ( you should be able to watch Prism on non Centurylink devices like Roku ) and 1 star on the www UX.

Rated 1 star as could not select 0. Don't think it actually works. Stopped trying after 2 hours. Google please remove this app as it really should never have been added. (Don't go ensure apps actually work before adding the to Play?)

It doesn't matter if you're on the "blazing fast" CenturyLink Wi-Fi network or LTE data, this app is glacially slow and will lock up and crash more often than do anything functional.

Cant use away from home, had to be in my home. I dont need it to do that, I watch my TV when at home. Not helpful at all. Thought I was suposed to be able to set recordings away from home?

App will not load beyond "In home check." This app used to load just fine on my Samsung phone and Kindle however, the newest update locks up phone and will not install on my Kindle. Not pleased at all.

I had a hard time believing all the negative reviews but they are absolutely correct. This app allows my phone to be my remote but that is it. Could not watch live TV or access dvr content. Totally worthless except to change dvr recording settings.

It is a disaster, never works, do not show live programs, always have errors and stop function, they should remove it and make it work then put it back again....should be embarrassed to promote this piece of crap

Whenever I try launching, it asks me to log in, then tells me it's having technical difficulties, try again in 10 minutes. It's been saying that for weeks now.
