Useless POS time waster. Can't log on even though I repeatedly verified my login credentials on the website, they don't work in the app. But one thing that did manage to work in the app: a bunch of pop-up notifications for events I don't care about. I think the casinos must have written this app to frustrate show attendees to the point where they give up and go hit the tables and slots.

M70%
by M####:

Doesn't link with agenda on desktop and doesn't include exhibitors and conference sessions. I spent time marking exhibitors that I wanted to visit and I can't access them on my phone. What was the point? I expected the CEs app to be on point with everything !!

F70%
by F####:

Horrible Search Function, needs multi-device sync ability but still needs a lot of work and bug testing. Still it is an improvement from last year!

M70%
by M####:

Cannot log in, throws a 404 not found error when the correct credentials are put in!

Best App for trusted updates on technology. See you in Vegas-2018!

Doesn't link with agenda on desktop and doesn't include exhibitors and conference sessions.

As other comments...spent link with desktop...??? Would hope more from the CES team. Would hope for leading edge.

Not linked with mapyourshow.

Maps are excellent!

Love it

I spent hours setting up my floor maps online and now I need to sync with LinkedIn? My LinkedIn has my private work email address that only my REAL contacts have access to. I am not going to give anyone else access to that email address, as I did many years ago to CES and all I got was a mailbox full of spam for 10 years from companies in France and Asia which I never even talked to.

Favorite exhibitors marked on the website don't show as such on the app. Can't see messages sent to other participants, unclear if was delivered or read. Fix these things otherwise the app is quite useless.

W70%

Wish this app gets upgraded. It has lots of great information and can be very helpful to make CES visit more productive. Navigation and linking is not easy or intuitive.

M70%
by M####:

Edit: it was my fault I was trying to login in to the same website I used to register for tickets. This is not the same site. Can't sign in. Enter same exact info on website and it works fine.

W70%
by W####:

My favorite exhibitors from the website are not syncing. That is a major miss for the app so far, couldn't see myself using this at the event if it's not fixed

M70%
by M####:

Cannot login to app even though I can login on my laptop.

U70%
by U####:

It would be a better app if you could filter by place, especially for conferences and in your agenda

Useful but needs improvement

So the LinkedIn requirement is annoying. My issue is the lack of info provided about individual booths. This is my first time at CES and I'm trying to see as much as I can. So I'll find a company I want to go see, only to find out that they "only have meeting space". I should be able to tell if I need an appointment to see stuff on the app. This has made CES very frustrating for me, and also not want to ever work with or buy from some companies again.

This app is not of the quality I would have expected from a technology show. The main deficiency is that you can only link your Personal Show Plan to the app if that plan uses your LinkedIn address. Many of us used our business email address for the PSP. CES missed an opportunity to simplify the show navigation experience with this app.

M70%
by M####:

Previous versions of the CES app were so bad it was embarrassing. This version is a vast improvement. Current issues are the map background service must have hung, the map didn't work for until I rebooted. current map location should auto update. Too many notifications. All that said, I can't emphasize enough, the vast improvement.. Great job.

K70%
by K####:

Looks like this will be used as a map for me. It's quite dissapoiting that the hour I spent setting up my show plan from the web page can't be synced to this app. Why in the world have a separate account system for the app than the web page? I'll tell you why... Two different developers created this in silos. In a world where we expect things to be seamlessly connected, CTA shows us a great example of what not to do!!!

M70%
by M####:

It forces me to continually download the database to use the app. The biggest functionality is the map, which keeps defaulting me to Tech South no matter my location. Also you can't search by booth number. Additionally the sponsored notifications are intrusive.

D70%
by D####:

I need to log in with my LinkedIn account and can't access the show plan I created on the web? Uninstall. EDIT: Too bad you didn't specify that when I created my show plan, the emails don't match and don't sync

M70%
by M####:

Can't see all the vendors I flagged on cesweb? Then what's the point? ADDED: In reply to the response, I'm not interested in sharing my CES interests with or on LinkedIn. So I won't be linking the accounts.

F70%
by F####:

I am very tired of apps that demand social networking ties. My linked in contact list is not for sale.

L70%
by L####:

Why use LinkedIn to log in when there already is log in information on the Web page. With this being a technology show, the app shows very little

V70%
by V####:

as others have said, my linkedin account email is personal, my CES email is business. That is the case for almost all my connections. Awful assumption. Total shite.

U70%
by U####:

I spent a bunch of time picking out exhibitors online, only to find it doesn't sync to this app. ...and, yes, I did use the same email address as my LinkedIn profile.

S70%
by S####:

I'll update my review once you actually get the Login button working. Until then, this app is useless.

X70%
by X####:

Continually forces me to re download show schedule, over and over. And the map crashes the app. Worthless.

M70%
by M####:

Sorry, but this is terrible App. slow, useless, old fashion design. :-( Did you try to use it before release?

M70%
by M####:

After creating a list of favorites on the CES web site, I can't view them in the mobile app. No way do I want to sync/share my LinkedIn. Why can't I login using the CES web site account?

M70%
by M####:

Doesn't even load. but it won't hesitate to bug me about a speaker coming up.
