MyHizentra™ Infusion Manager for Android
The scanner doesn't work. I've stopped using the app because it too time consuming. We use 3-2gram bottles per infusion usually from the same batch. We have to enter the same number multiple times. If the technology was improved I would love this app!
*UPDATE :The camera will not focus. Hadn't since the last update. Have to enter manual every time now. *The focusing of the camera can be very annoying on occasion- but over all is a great app. Also I'd like not to be reminded that my life saving IgG will most likely cause clots and make die EVERY TIME I OPEN THE APP. It's stressful enough living with CVID and doing SubQ....I really don't need to be reminded of my mortality every time I open the app.
The convenience of this app is great and I've had no problems using the qr code reader. I do wish they would add a way to directly send logs to my doctors though, allowing everyone to be in the loop.
Very excited to do SuB Q...I'm very new to all of this so app will help. Thank you!
Scanner quit working can not do QR codes will not autofocus. Please fix.
This is an good app for recording infusions. If scanning worked, it would be excellent!
Galaxy S6 Edge, Android 6.0.1. The vial scanner no longer records vial information after upgrading from Android 5.1.1 to Android 6.0.1. I use six vials each week for my infusions. Manually recording the information makes an already lengthy process much longer. Maintaining a notebook with peeled labels is very cumbersome. This app is way over due for an update. The app is essentially useless in it's current state. PS- cloud storage for recorded data would be a useful addition to the new upgrade...
I was hoping after upgrading to Marshmallow that the scanning issues would get better but they got worse. It doesn't even try to focus on the qr code and when I manage to get it perfectly in focus it doesn't do anything at all. It just sits there and never actually scans the code. Scanning the vials is one of the most important feature in the app and it simply refuses to do so. Lame.
We need to be able to flag infusions for review at doctors office for important situations. Otherwise a very nice app.

... This app (over the 3+ months I've been using it) has been surprisingly useful. Honestly, I figured it would be a gimmick 'cause, you know, everyone has to have an app; but it really DOES something. Tracking each infusion - down to your temp. & the lot # of the serum - is a snap. But, as other folks have said, (and the reason for docking a star) it lacks cloud storage/backup & the ability to flag "noteworthy" events. In short, if u r doing Hizentra infusions, I recommend trying it. Be well.
Great app, but it needs cloud back up so the info is accessible from different devices. I fear my phone will crash and I will lose my log. Please reach out to Rack space or some other cloud. I do not work from Rack space I just know they run a cloud.
The scanning doesn't work at all due to small code on bottles. We need to be able to flag infusions for review at doctors office for important situations. Otherwise a very nice app.

Just finished my paper log book and didn't know how to order a new book. This app is perfect for everything I need to keep about my infusion!

This uses the worst qr scanner in the history of qr scanners. It does absolutely nothing. I have contacted them several times but apparently they don't care. This is the single most important part of the app for me and it is completely broken.
