About SecureSign by Credit Suisse

An existing client relationship with Credit Suisse and a valid login for one of the supported Credit Suisse online services are required in order to use this app.

SecureSign can be used for login and for transaction signing in the following Credit Suisse online services:
• Credit Suisse Online Banking
• Private Banking Switzerland app
• Credit Suisse PLUS
• MyBonviva - Rewards Shop

:: Advantages of SecureSign ::
• SecureSign provides a high level of security
• Can be used everywhere and at any time. No need for an internet or telephone connection to use the SecureSign app
• Offers an easy and convenient means of logging in and confirming transactions such as payments, transfers, etc.

:: Credit Suisse Online Banking ::
Once you have logged in, you can register for the new security procedure yourself under "My Profile/SecureSign".

:: Private Banking Switzerland ::
With SecureSign, logging in to Mobile Banking is even faster and more convenient.
If you have installed the Credit Suisse Private Banking app and the SecureSign app on the same smartphone, only a user ID and password are now required to log in. After this, the SecureSign app asks you to confirm login by pressing a button.

No issues or me. Tends to deacrivate with OS update so having it on two different devices is recommended as activated application is required to activate a new one.

Securesign is working quite OK on one device. However, I use to reinstall my phone quite often and there is no other way than making a phone call to the helpdesk when you want to reinstall the app on a new phone. Plus, the person I had on the phone told me than I could setup on a second device to be able to recover when I get a new phone. He told me that it works on ChromeOS (Chromebooks), but it doesn't. When I want to activate the 2nd device (chromeOS), it fails with error -505 when trying to capture the picture. Then, there was no easy way to revert back to one single device, as every time I tried to login on my regular comptuer, I was asked to register the 2nd device, which wasn't possible ! Please Credit Suisse, you can make it better ... 2FA is good, but you must cover all use cases before releasing an 2FA app like this at least .... Only 3D-Secure/Swisscards is worse than this ....

This app looks like the first app a developer has written; ugly and apparently no user experience tests. Further more, it has way to much text for what the app wants you to do.

Was working fine since May 2017 on my android dual sim. Now already third time the app de-activated in one month. Need to contact customer support to get to my own money. Looking for another bank because of this.

Nicht sehr vertrauenserweckend. Spontane Neustarts, mehrfaches Scannen des Bildschirms. Was soll die Bestätigung des letzten Logins?! Kurz gesagt: Laienspielschar. (Stand 20.11.2017 weiterhin wie beschrieben.)

"Vergisst" andauernd, dass die App bereits aktiviert wurde, und muss via telefonischen Support wieder freigeschalten werden. Sehr ärgerlich - unter Android 7.1.2 nicht wirklich brauchbar.

Das letzte Update ist nun immer noch vom Juni, es hiess es gibt keinen Dual Sim Support. Nun habe ich die SIM in einen anderen Slot eingelegt und es funktioniert. Hätte dies gern vom Support erfahren :-/

And developers get paid for making this kind of app? Stopped working just before activation, it can't read the graphic code shown on the screen. I can't even reset the whole process. Just stuck between registration and login. You should freeze the 6-digit window in the second stage unless the user actually submitted the info on the site.

Wird die SecureId definitiv nicht weitergeführt. Finde dise App eine sehr schlechte lösung, gefahr, dass ich mein handy verliere ist viel grösser als dass ich die secureID verliere. Das macht das ganze einfach unnötig unsicher und viel komplizierter. Bitte secureID wieder einrichteb

Seems like permission issue got sorted but the activation graph won't read on my Xperia Z5. I cannot believe how badly this is done. A 1.8 Google score says it all.

I updated the app this morning on nexus 5x. It is not possible to scan the SecureSign because I only see a black screen. You should be testing the app more thoroughly before releasing the update on the store. Please fix ASAP!

How can it be possible to release an app that that is so clearly not ready. Issues with so many phone types and my Android 6.0 LG G4 is yet another that gets the initialisation error-permission denied message

As has been written, the App doesn't work properly on Android 6. You must manually go to Settings -> Applications -> SecureSign and give the App permission for camera and phone(?). Then the "Initialization Error" will go away and it works as advertised. Still this doesn't actually instill confidence that there aren't similar issues with security if you can't get something as simple as android permissions right... 2 Stars because less user friendly than old SMS method for non-technical people. Also I have the same app from their smaller! daughter company (NAB) and there it worked flawlessly.

Was working fine with S6 but not anymore with my new S7!!! The worst part is however the support after being in que for 40 minutes the person who picked up the call dropped after 30seconds!!

Come on Credit Suisse: this app neither works on a Moto G 2nd gen nor on a Samsung A5 2016 on Android 6.0 from scratch. Manually adding permission for camera and phone does the trick, but why do I have to figure this out myself?

TO FIX the authorization denied problem: go to the authorization settings and give permission to camera and telephone. You have do it manually

Mit Fehler. Beim Zuk 2 funktioniert alles aber beim Galaxy S6 "Initiation Error - Permission denied" .
