About NYC Free Summer Events
The NYC Free Summer Events app guides you to free arts, sports, social, and kids events for the entire summer. There is at least one event for every day from early June to late August and usually many! Take advantage of all that New York City has to offer!
From free concerts in Central Park to early morning yoga in Brooklyn Bridge Park to free juggling lessons in Bryant Park to kids movies on the Hudson River, this app has it all! Easily view events by date or location. When you find an event you like, click a button to share it, add it to your calendar, or show the location on a map.
Explanation of Permissions Required by this app:
1. Write to Calendar: You can add an event directly to your calendar from the app. None of the events added invite others, so we do not utilize the 'email guest' functionality.
2. Access Network State & Internet: Required for in-app ads. If enough people ask for it, we may release an ad-free version in the future!

I'm very happy I got to use this app during my stay in New York. I hope the developers keep working on it and that it becomes popular. Only qualm I have with it is that it doesn't have a calender view where I can select the day on a physical calender. I like them.

I must have gotten the .doc version of this at least eight years ago...and every year at least two friends ask me "where's the summer list?" I will collect more cool points when I let them know about this app. Thanks for the consistency Crystal!
