About Price Compare
Price Compare makes it easy to perform price comparisons and add new prices both at home and on the go.
Use this app and find hidden deals during this time of price inflation. Is it really worth it to buy in bulk? Is that "sale" really a sale compared to the regular store you go to? These are just two examples of questions Price Compare helps answer.
Once you've created products for the app to track, simply enter a price, amount and unit at the top of the screen (see screenshots) and compare unit prices instantly in the list view. Want to update a price to an existing product in the list? Just click on it and pick your store. That's it! You're done!
Enter prices as you skim through flyers, walk down an aisle at a grocery store or while you go through your old receipts. All that info comes in handy the next time you see a supposed "sale" at the store.
The items in the list view will colour code themselves according to the price entered at the top. Green means it's a deal! Red means you've found better prices previously.

How do I delete a product?
To delete a product you can go to the Manage Products screen by clicking the menu button on the main screen of the app (the one which appears when you first start the app) and pressing the menu key on the device. Once you reach the products screen you can do a long touch on the product you want to delete.
How do I delete a price from a product?
To delete a price entered on a product click on the product in either the main screen or Manage Products screen. This will take you to the Product Details screen. From there, click the History tab to show the prices. Long touch the entry you want to delete and select "Delete" from the popup menu.

One thing that would be very super cool to see later. This is just a idea and would be faster is a way to scan to add all the info other then the price for you. I have seen shopping apps that have that. Which gives you all the information. Only hard to figure which place was the better price. Also a way to ad sales from the regular everyday price so when the sale is over. You only see the best price over all and would keep your regular price for the item. There appears to be a bug when a category is created then later edited- both unique, or duplicate categories remain on first page, but not under manage categories or when adding a new item. Also consider to add US quart measure and sub-categories as an option to make complex category names less hassle for user to enter. Perhaps a user option to switch Metric/Imperial/US units. Purchased key! Thank you

I really enjoy this app. I would recommend adding 2 features: 1) a check box on the product entry screen to indicate if a price is a "sale price"; and 2) that the product name be auto fill based on products already entered to avoid duplicate entries. Thanks!

That said, the free version is very limited in it's use. The paid version is quite pricy. If you have the know how just create a spreadsheet with simple formulas and you'll be golden.

Only app that truly compares prices for groceries and other products. It shows price comparison not only in different measurements (lb, kg, unit), also in different stores at different price points! Been looking for this kind of app specifically, unlike other ones which just shows a shopping list. I got the upgraded version too. 4 stars for now, lots room for improvements (design interface, user friendlyness, more features such as preset images/photo upload, backup). Overall, great starting concept.

Love how I can save the price from each store for one product. I will always pay the best price with this app! It'd be nice if the best store price was easier to get to. Maybe they're working on that, for now I don't mind a few clicks and the time to get there. Also I want best/worst price to show which store that price is from.

This simple app allows you to calculate & save unit prices by store & date, but with two maddening quirks. (1) On the summary page, the best and worst prices are shown without displaying their stores. This means you have to do some hunting to find out which store has te best price after enter all the data. (2) Every time you add a new item, every item on the summary page converts to the same unit (e.g., once you enter a price for bulk lunch meat, even liquid laundry detergent is displayed in pounds).
