Crunchyroll - Everything Anime

Minutes away from cancelling my subscription. Normally quite good but today nothing showing on video's. No way to ask admin or at least no easy way to just drop them a line. Also slot of stuff not available in the UK which is pretty shitty as I'm sure we pay as much if not more than any other country. If it doesn't sort itself soon will be cancelling.

Adverts load every time without fail, but the shows themselves often timeout or fail, more often you also lose the playback position and it will skip to the next episode. The shows and the selection is great, although some miss chunks of subtitles on occasion. Lately I can't even get through a single episode without it skipping to the end or just stopping playback for no reason, but the adverts still load every time

First, u need to watch multiple ads to watch few minutes of an episode and it gets annoying after using it a couple of times. Next, ppl should be able to comment on the series or on each of the episodes as long as they don't spill any spoilers and stay appopriate to all viewers so that ppl who is interested in the series can first hear about what others think about the content. Lastly, i love that it is all free but there should be more improvements for better usage.

Within one 30 minute episode, I have watched the exact same advert 13 times. Having to watch the same advert repeat 3 or 4 times per add break. Seems like a good website, but there are better places to watch anime that don't have adverts or require you to be a premium member for almost everything.

This app is barely usable for me. It's very well designed except for the fact that my videos are constantly buffering.I never get buffers on Netflix or youtube or any other app i use but i have premium on crunchyroll and it still constantly buffers even though my connection is perfect. Because of this I'm probably just going to cancel my subscription and just go stream anime on Google.

This app killing my data. It too consumed data such as one show 30min got over 350MB compared Hulu only get around 80MB. But not only problem consumed also this app need has be heavy and good connection service. It too much buffer. Hulu has no problem. You could fix optimize as Hulu. If it is. People will be happy. Please

I really like anime so am fine with watching ads to be able to watch the shows I love. However, the quantity of ads there are in a single episode ridiculous (usually between 10 - 18!). In addition, these ads are commonly the same, which means you tend to watch her same ad multiple times in a row!

Wanted to try the free version before I spent any money. The selections are nice but the service is very unstable. Half way through most anime the application freezes and you have to start it over. Luckily for them you have to watch the ads over also. The person that recommended this to me says that is not an issue on the premium version. Call me old-fashioned but a trial version is the company's chance to prove something to me and the only thing they have proven is that their loyalty stands with the money not with the customer. Back to Bootleg.

It has a great selection and I enjoy using the app. However, there are way to many adds that you must watch just do you can get to the episode that you want to watch. Even after just watching the theme song you have to watch 3-5 ads. I came to watch anime, not ads! Plus, there is no option for english dub, which I am pretty triggered about. Sometimes, you just want to watch something and fully understand what they are saying without having to read fast subtitles. Other than that, I enjoy using this app and use it almost everyday.

This app is amazing if you pay for the subscription... IF... I recently got rid of my subscription because one of my favorite shows had ended. But I didn't now how bad the free version got. Holy... I kid you not I sat there and watched 6!!! Count them 6!!!! Adds on the start of black Butler episode 1.... AND THAT WAS ONE OF 4 COMMERCIAL BRAKES FOR THE SHOW!!!! I CAN LITERALLY WATCH BLACK BUTLER FREE ON YOUTUBE AND NOT SIT THREW ADDS THAT LITERALLY ADD UP TO BE LONGER THEN THE LENGTH OF THE EPISODE I'M TRYING TO WATCH, WTH!?!?!?!? Cruchyroll made itself clear, pay the $15 a month or GTFO.

I have a premium membership and love all of the content but it's been about a month now that I haven't been able to watch any show because they just won't load. Please fix this. I have both an Samsung Galaxy S8 and a LG Stylo 2 and both experience the same issue Aupdate: As of 6/3/17 i still cant watch shows

Guest passes don't work. Used one and it said it went thru, still had ads. Used a second one, still have ads. Kinda annoyed at this point, but still a better app than funimation. Guess ill deal with the 20 ads per episode until I can get my gift card from game stop.

I like this app alot. If you don't pay you'll have maybe 3 even 4 15 second commercials but then your show will continue. The commercials are 4 times per episode so 4 minutes of commercials vs 20 mins of free anime. Not bad I think.

I would like to love this app, but trying to sign up for a premium account I found a bug and no way to report it. I cannot apply my zip code for my premium sign up using the app because it only allows me to input numbers, however, Canadian zips contain letters. Please address this so I can sign up using the app in Canada. Thanks!

I have had it with the app. Without fail videos freeze up and then loop to the point they froze then start the loop again. Without chrome cast or a browser the app is unusable on the go. I have had this thing for a year now and seen no I mean no improvement of fix in this Whatsit ever. Download VRV and watch everything you cant in your browser.

Too many ads. Really feels like I'm forced to sign up for it. 4 ads each time the marker gets to the ad point. Basically I'm spending 30 to 40 minutes trying to finish one episode. Don't get me wrong. The app is great. But too many ads for a 20 minute video. Wouldn't recommend for free users. Would recommend for paid users.

I love the app actually. To a point. The streaming service is incredibly slow without temporary downloading of streamed material, restarting or rewinding causes a reload of the show. Way, way, way too many ads, if there weren't so many repetitive 30 second ads in a row, I'd be happier with the service. Also a set of ads at the beginning, opening theme, middle and end, is extremely irritating, I'd consider buying premium if I didn't feel forced to do so. I spend more time watching ads than anime.

1. I wasn't able to get a free trial, something about my card being used before!! Really?? I never have used my card here. 2. It crashes waaaay too much!! Do I wanted to upgrade, fine take my money, but your system was down because I couldn't. 3. I wanted to see if after I became a member would things be better, but aprerantly not since every one is complaining.

I've been a premium member for a few years now, and have used the app with my Chromecast more-or-less effectively (there are frequent hiccups and glitches with both, but usually I can work around them). I love CR as a service, but there always seems to be some playback issue or another with the Android app. It gets very frustrating after a while.

I'm a paid member. I have one of the latest phones and unlimited 4G LTE speed. Soni can't understand why this app crashes so much I haven't been able to watch one full show without having to keep restarting the app. It's really becoming annoying and it's becoming a waste of money being spent

I understand ads are important but that doesn't excuse having 5 ads before the intro, after the intro, halfway through the anime and at the end. Totalling 20 ads with an average of 5 minutes of ads which, obviously is annoying. Not to mention the fact that some animes aren't available in the UK. But then again, good fun when you have plenty of time on your hands.

No quality controls = ton of data used if not on wifi...such a basic feature...this is the only reason why I won't pay for your service crunchyroll. Besides that an OK app..when it works that is. UPDATE: It is now June 06, 2017 this app is simple put, CRAWLING. Video constantly buffers and repeats audio every minute or so. 4G LTE, Highs peed WiFi....this app dose not discriminate.

I watched my first video in this app and already i had seen more than a dozen ads in that first video. I know you are trying to make money and support your sponsors. And I know people can upgrade to premium to disable ads but please limit the ads. And also the ads keep on messing up my stream. After watching ads in a video it would say "error could not load please contact support". Please fix this. Although overall this is a pretty good app. It keeps up to date with the anime listed and more

This app was my fave..... after the nougat 7 update though it has become GARBAGE! I'm a premium member too! *update* app has improved a little bit, but still a long ways to go. Constant buffering on mobile 4G LTE network, before Nougat update I NEVER had this issue. FYI- I have unlimited data.

I pay for premium and for close to 3 months now I haven't been able to properly watch anything without it buffering or completely​ just skipping back a couple minutes to let the audio catch back up with the video. I am close to canceling my subscription unless you listen to your customers and fix what the problem is. This has been going on far too long without anything being done, I don't wanna switch to the other VR nonsense I want the issue to be fixed for this app. People pay so take responsibility and help us out.

This app is good. But the ads don't always load which means I end up waiting 10 minutes before loading gives up and starts the anime again. Also, there should be a way to request animes to be added. For example, One Punch Man isn't on this, which makes watching it harder on Xbox or apps. So I have to load it up on my laptop and risk viruses.

I presently reinstalled this app! It is great on a HD tablet. Got a notification about signing up if I was enjoying a show. $7 isn't bad but I can't have a membership to keep up with what I watched.

It works. Gonna start with that. It certainly does it's job, but it's not the best. It's organized but lacks a lot in the visual appeal. On top of that you're only allowed one profile per account, unlike Netflix. It would also be improved if there was an option to switch the language during play instead of having to find the separate video. Also, it has a lot of issues loading the videos at certain times. It could definitely be improved.

This app worked great prior to the new layout update. Now it buffers all the time even though I have a great connection, and when it resumes, the audio is not in synch with the video. Using a Samsung Galaxy S8. But had the same issue with my Note 5. Seriously feel like canceling the account.

It's good quality-sound and visuals, has a good library of anime but the only problem is that the adds will play over 2 or 3 times When it's suppose to be only one add and sometimes it's the same add too. That's the only real let down. I don't have a subscription so I don't know if it gets better with one or not

Why the hell does this app crash SO MUCH!? First I got bothered by the adds and having to watch a double amount of them due to the crashing. I then became a Premium Member with the hope of not getting any more adds or crashes. Guess what!? Every 10 seconds the app CRASHES! I don't care of how many HD/new/old/subtitled series you have if I can't watch ONE SINGLE EPISODE without it crashing.

Currently Crunchyroll is unwatchable. The anime freeze , stop, replay, and go out of sync with video and sound. Not sure if it's just certain anime or the whole app. But for premium members like myself this is not worth the monthly fee. Please fix these bugs with the app. And it's not my internet because I am a PC gamer and I have no problems gaming, and I also have Netflix which never freezes. Please fix Crunchyroll.

Drains battery when not used so Android usually warns me a couple of hours after use to put the app to sleep. I use it to cast to Chromecast, which doesn't work very well. After finishing an episode and going to the next I cannot skip forward or back or jump in timeline without restarting.

I used to love this app. I bought premium solely because I enjoy crunchyroll as a service. But, as countless others have stated, the issue where the video freezes and the audio loops back 10 seconds is just unbearable. It can happen 10+ times an episode which turns what should be a simple viewing experience into a frustrating slog, desperately waiting for the episode to end.

It wont take my payment from the app or online website and i cant get help so i can subscribe to the app it keeps telling me gateway timed out or unauthorized request stupid. Rate a 5 if fixed because im not the one making mistakes.

Takes way to much internet to play a video. Pay 6.99 for premium just to have non stop "it's a busy weekend watch on vrv" why would I want my anime app to advertise another app when I pay for premium? Also vrv has better choices. Few $ more for better. Canceling.

I like it, and I have watched a few Animes on it but, now ads are freakin ridiculous. I remember 3, or 4 ads an episode. I tried one episode on an Anime that didn't require a premium membership, and ads galore. The description says "Watch Japanese anime & Asian Drama for free (no membership required)!" Why do we have to pay now to watch Anime? I am considering upgrading but, pretty much being forced to upgrade. I don't think it's worth it.

Five to six ads per commercial break!! And during the ads, the screen is not kept active like on normal video, so the screen will time out and fade to black, but audio keeps playing. Then the app crashes when you turn the screen back on, and when you boot the app back up, it doesn't remember that you watched the ads, so you get five to six MORE. Having said that, the selection is great. Honestly, if they reduced the ads to two to three and fixed the screen time out, this would be five stars. But it seriously affects enjoyment. Edit: Have now attempted to watch the same half an hour episode six times. To hell with this. Thanks for saving me from subscribing, Crunchyroll!

This app would be perfect if you get ahold of someone to reset videos that quit working. I found a video that will not work even after deleting all data and cach. There is no way to tell anyone, thus the low score.

I'm a premium member but I have not watch anything on Crunchyroll because the app keeps on crashing. These constant interruptions will cause me to go somewhere else to watch anime, please fix it.
