Official MegaCon App

This is really bad. The convention is under way now and there is barely any content. The schedule has no day, date or AM/PM notation which is practically useless. That said, I do like the upcoming events timeline in the schedule, even if it gives you no details, most are blank or TBD. App for last year (2015), as bad as it was, was still better.

I like the app for Mega but here are some things that could be added to improve its utility. The schedule is one continuous thread of times with no separation of date or am/pm. Clicking on a guest brings up a list of events they are participating in, however prices of autographs and photo ops would be helpful. Clicking on a vendor gives only a name and location, it would be helpful to have a small descripton or category like "clothes" "comics" "toys" etc. of the vendor and a map.

For 2014 and 2015 this app was great. For 2016 some sections still show things like "Placeholder" on the third day of the convention.

Can't really use the app, unfortunately. Keeps crashing after trying to open the app. Running cyanogen mod on a One Plus One

But needs a way to push notifications of your selected activities are about to start.

The last update was UI only. We are less than a week away and there is no useful content on the app. I've been spoiled by the quality, usability and timeliness of the Dragon Con app. I don't know if the issue is the new Mega Con ownership or what, but this app and the slow rolling information about the con has been disappointing at best.

Nothing is filled in and there is no way to compare schedule information between a group of people. It would be nice if the user was able to force an update or see that the posted information was updated since they last looked at the app. Descriptions of the panels and what they will cover is always a good idea. Come on the con starts in two days.

I can't even start the app. It gives me endless loops of errors and crash reports. This is four days away from the con. Such a disappointment.

Most of the app has Blank information. I find this app useless.

Had to lower my rating. This app is totally useless as of now and the convention is days away. Please update before it starts.

Would be nice if you updated your app so that people could see at a glance who the guests are. It still shows everyone from 2015. Update and maybe I'll give more stars.

I too am looking for 2016 updates, especially since they are announcing all the guests already

Is there going to be an update for this year's? The schedule on the website says to download the app for android

UI buttons seem nonresponsive but long press finally opens menus; (all) 'schedule' is just a list of events & times (upcoming says empty). 'Maps' opens very low-res google images you can't read, 'info' takes you to the website (!), 'social' opens links to camera, social networks and a news feed of seemingly random people's posts using the right tag. Event merchandise says "placeholder"! Don't waste your space.

Please stop using Phonegap and create an actual nice app. The schedule is illegible with no AM or PM. The map doesn't even load. No info on the guest just the events they are at. Nothing about photo ops or signings. Photo Ops returns nothing. Megacon deals and Artist Alley both have placeholders. Just all around a bad useless application. Now forced to carry around the book. Thanks Obama.

I'm here and it's almost useless. I don't understand at all why it needs so many permissions when it doesn't do much. It can't validate my ticket so why identity? Camera, call status? Nope.

Let me find all that I was looking for, but REALLY needs a notifier for panels, photos, etc

I would like it if it posted notifications when panels I'm interested in were about to start, or if the map feature also provided directions. Social feature would be more interesting if u could see other attendees posts, like a discussion board.

App constantly crashes. When It does work it's great for info. But have to reload it every time you want access any information

Decent app, but absolutely no signal inside the con. For the price you pay, they should have free WiFi too.

Needs to really update some of the panels and when q & a or where people were. It does crash too often. I hope the app will improve.
