CrowdCompass Directory for Android
Cvent events and crowdcompass app is a growing combination
Set up account with laptop. App will not let me log into mobile. Attempted logins keep sending me confirmation emails. . .
Loving it!
Not only are the crashes annoying because they stop the app from working. They also cause the app to lose knowledge of which event the user is viewing, making it more tedious to start using the app again.
Update/ "bug fixes" removed my event and will not allow me to re enter my event code
Good idea but it keeps tossing me out.
Crashed several times. Had to keep logging in every time I opened app. Battery report showed this app as draining over 25 percent of my battery. This app only complicated the conference I attended.
Crashes on opening app and opening my conference - about half the time. Nice when it does work.
Useful features, but it crashes a lot. Don't make this your only source for your conference schedule!
Using a Note 4. Frequently crashes. And it is very limited to customization. If I want to add a page of content, the system will not allow using cells and tables. Will not recognize local css or using the style tag within an element. Basically headers and paragraphs. That's it.
On Android 6, this app crashes all the time.
Downloaded to preview our event WIP. Selected event and crashes. Samsung S4 Android.
Annoying useless notifications. Eats up battery even in background. Shoddy offline mode.
Used for a recent Citrix conference and really helped to keep organized. However it would frequently crash on s4 running 4.4.2
App updated and instantly crashed (S4). Error message popped up to report or OK. Click OK and message popped up again. Click Report and message popped up again. Home button didn't work. Had to hard boot the phone. Uninstalled before error could come up again.
I recently used the app for ServTech event and it was great for helping to schedule sessions and for the map. The down side is that by lunch break I had to go get my charger because my galaxy s5 was at less than 20 percent. As soon as I uninstalled the app my battery went back to lasting all day. Also, it killed my 5gb for the month in 3 days of using the app.
I used this app for a conference I was attending. Within less than 8 hours of little usage, my battery was down to 20%. After looking at the battery utilization, this app had consumed 45% of the battery. If you use this app, make sure you force close it.
I keep having to freeze the app. It uses more battery than any of my apps.
Cvent events and crowdcompass app is a growing combination
This is by far the best conference app available. Full control of every aspect from design to content gives the user everything in one easy to use event center.

It doesn't cache any data so every time you open the app it requires data access. The login process is awkward requiring you jump through the mobile site.
