Tensamba

El Festival Tensamba nació en la Ciudad de San Cristóbal de La Laguna, cuna del Padre Anchieta, fundador de São Paulo y de Rio de Janeiro. Las primeras ediciones se desarrollaron en esta ciudad, a partir de ahí el crecimiento ha sido exponencial, y ciudades como Madrid, Barcelona, Avilés, Londres, París, Rio de Janeiro o São Paulo han sido testigos del mismo así como las islas de Gran Canaria, La Palma, Lanzarote y Fuerteventura

Durante todos estos años de Festival son muchos los artistas que se han presentado como Toquinho, Roberto Menescal, Joyce, João Donato, Quarteto Em Cy y Carlos Lyra de la Bossa Nova, otros como Fabiana Cozza, Wilson das Neves, Teresa Cristina o Leandro Fregonesi en el Samba, otros dentro del Jazz como Paquito D’Rivera (Cubano) y el Trío Corrente, Ed Motta, virtuosos como Hamilton de Holanda, Yamandú Costa o Alessandro Penezzi y finalmente dentro de las nuevas tendencias de la música Maria Rita, Bebel Gilberto o Adriana Calcanhoto + 2. Todo esto sin olvidar artistas como Seu Jorge o Gal Costa que han desarrollado su carrera en varios terrenos musicales.
