About FuncGen Signal Generator

The Crescendo Systems function generator can be used to generate sine, triangle, square and non repeating noise signals.
Additionally these carrier signals can be AM, FM or PM modulated or swept in frequency. The modulations can be enabled on their own or in any combination.

The square and triangle signals have a duty-cycle that can be set from 1% to 99%.

The ArbGen app adds frequency resolutions below 1Hz, automatic and customized saving of all parameters and the arbitrary function generator.

LG G5 freezes up

D70%

The FM modulation should start from 88Mhz to 108Mhz, so your maximum generator frequency is 20Khz , how that is come, I tried to receive the fm signal by my radio it does not appear

Doesnt wrk

Best of these Sig gen apps (when u get used to the controls).. Desire HD

U70%

I have made something.

S70%
by S####:

In general works quite well. Handy little utility. Only main issue is that if I manually enter a numer for the amplitude or adjust the amplitude slider while stopped, it will play at full amplitude when I press start even though the number is displayed in the box. If I adjust it after pressing start it works correctly. It would be nice to be able to start at the selected amplitude.

Brilliant idea and execution

I love the sliders. Maybe disable keyboard pop up every time I change fields? Great work. Thanks.

Nice job, useful tool.

Please allow frequency above 20000! Why cap it?

Froze my HTC desire. Needs more work.

Hard to find a decent Sig Gen for home theatre work - this one's ok but eventually froze my Desire needing batt removal

This is probably the worst app the android market has to offer

Anyone know settings to replicate a spirit box?

Great, no holes. BF.

Pretty good! I would like to see parameters assignable to phone axis for my 5th star.

Very nice!

When I ran this program my Desire HD froze. Had to remove the battery to restart. Uninstalled.

U70%
by U####:

Nice sine tone. Need to be able to set frequency resolution to at least two decimal points. Nice if could create/save presets. 5 stars if you do that.

O70%
by O####:

Good duty cycle slider doesn't do anything though niether does amplitude bar.

U70%
by U####:

HTC one. Sine wave does not work. Also needs proper popups for value entry instead of text box

W70%
by W####:

No decimals.... LOL useless!!

J70%

No permissions and a good program. well done.

U70%

It works well

U70%

I may be slow, but what is used for the output.

Z70%
by Z####:

It would be very nice if the resulting waveform was displayed Ola

N70%
by N####:

Sine wave is nice and clean, can see a little bit or capacitance on the triangle wave and this capacitance is rather obvious on the square wave also. Problem more than likely is my phone hardware (Capacitor resistor network on audio output), but hey, for a free app you can't complain!

O70%
by O####:

Good app, but with my phone it produced square waves on triangle mode, and triangle waves on square mode. I checked out with an osciloscope.

H70%
by H####:

I do not trust it for low frequencies. Why we hear f. Below 15Hz?

N70%
by N####:

You might need a decent speaker setup to prove it though.

H70%
by H####:

Does what it's supposed to. Works on Archos 101it. Having coarse and fine adjustment with known steps would be welcome.

R70%
by R####:

No special permissions required, that is a good sign :)

N70%
by N####:

This has good functionality, but is very unpolished. Poor interface for modulation. Should remember the settings from one run to the next.

N70%
by N####:

Doesn't work on my LG lucid 2 every time I press a button I says that it stopped working Uninstalling

I70%
by I####:

The best of the bunch, but irritating keyboard covers interface..the only one I tried which produces a 1V output @ 1kHz but couldn't, get it to 0dB

C70%
by C####:

White and pink noise generators just repeat the same 1 sec of signal over and over. User interface could be made more user-friendly.
