New Missal

This is not a good app. It is internet-dependent yet takes so much space - 11mb; the Mass Prefaces are missing.

The app os awsome and the inclusion of reflections is s most welcome development. I join FANTASTIC to request the Nigerian missal translation. God bless.

The app doesn't sync anymore even tho its set to 30days sync and i have very fast internet connection. I have uninstalled, rebooted my phone to no avail.

It's pretty good. I love it especially the reflections.... Always instructive and spirit filled. I've increased my rating because of the immeasurable spiritual benefits I've gained having this app in my phone. Much thanks to those who developed the app.

I recommend it for catholics, really good app.

Allows you you to download the readings so that you can view them after when you don't have internet. It automatically syncs the amount of days you set in settings once you open the readings area of the app.

Significant limitations. Like iMissal, this app claims to be "complete" or a "full implementation," but like iMissal, it does not provide the Entrance Antiphon, Collect, Prayer over the Offering, Preface proper to the day, Communion Antiphon or Prayer After Communion for any Mass on any day. If you have to fumble through the hard copy books in the pews to get those, there's no point in using this. The daily reflections it "provides" are just links to other sites. If there are no books available this is better than nothing. Even then, iMissal is a far better implementation in terms of user interface.

Thanks for this wonderful app but please we need an improvement. On feast days, two readings may be available say "vigil" and "dawn" but when you try clicking, it always says error loading page. What can be done?

App runs slow, is cumbersome and hard to navigate. iBreviary (available.for Android) includes Mass readings and the complete Divine Office along with other prayers. If you don't want to burn your online time you can download several days worth of readings and save to your device to read where you don't have WiFi or cell access. Laudate links to the USCCB website for the readings (so you need Internet access ) but is also complete. Both apps are far superior to this one.

I have used this app for 3 years and it has been inspirational especially in times of doubt. I have found answers to prayers through many of the inspired words of the brethren at the Creighton University. God bless.

I have been looking for a comprehensive missal app for a long time. Since i found this app. I have been complete. My wife and i read the daily Gospel every morning and the reflections. We have been spiritually blessed by this app. Thank you for all the effort you have made and for bringing us closer to God.

Very complete and useful app. I love the sync option that allows to keep readings available offline. I'd suggest only to add the alternative readings of the special days, such as the spacial readings on a saint day. Thank you for your work!!

This is the most wonderful daily missal app, I´ve ever seen. You can sncr even up to 30 days, and daily Missal will still be available offline. Great work!!

Why is it that passionist daily reflection no longer updates? That was the main reason I installed it.

The words in the daily readings run off the screan!

The translation is simple but still captured the essence.

Be a user for over a year and it has the readings with mass order and relevant text. Functional and easy to use.

It helps me a lot..especially i have an improvement because i manage tagalog mass but also in english mass i can also manage.

This app would be nice but every time I use it I have to RESTART or (Power off and Power on).

This is an excellent app. How to use this app in a church without Wi-Fi.. If you are dependent on Wi-Fi as I am, tap your screen while in a Wi-Fi zone, until A tiny circle with an i in it appears (for information?) in the left top corner.. tap that and a page appears where you can adjust your text size. You should also set the "Readings Sync" to "Yes" and if you have the memory to spare click on "30 Days" Now once every 30 days you have to remember to open this app while in a Wi-Fi zone, and it will update itself so that you'll be able to open it to the current readings each time. There doesn't seem to be any way to enlarge the font to comfortable reading size. :-(

I really like it saves my time when am away from my house.

Can there be a offline version? Or an option to download the day which i want? We dont have Internet in church. Also include an option to write notes? That would be a plus for me. As when the priest is giving the homily I usually take notes from what he says. In addition why can't I get out of the app? I have to press the home button to escape from the app. This is disappointing.

From it name ,New Missal, I thought it features will be more fascinating than that of i-missal.but its not. Features like Bible quotes for each day and live video from the Vatican should be included in next update.

I try to read this everyday and the reflection that fallows. In our everyday busy lives everyone should always take the time to reflect on the blessing God has given us and read from the gospel. It will only enrich ones life reading the gospel and getting closer to God. Thank you very much for making this app. It truly does help me everyday and feel much better after a read.
