Quitting smoking isn't easy and a little daily reinforcement can really help. The Smoking Calculator is an unobtrusive widget that is placed on your home screen to provide you with a convenient reminder of how much better off you are now that you're SMOKE FREE.
Begin by setting the quantity and daily cost of your habit and then watch the widget on your home screen update throughout the day with:
- The amount of money you've saved
- The number of cigarettes that you avoided
- The number of days and the number of hours you've been smoke free
Touch the widget to cycle through each or touch the icon on the widget to change your settings.
To install: On older phones, long-press on the home screen and select the widget from the list. On newer phones/tablets, open the widget list from the application screen and drag the widget to the desired home screen.

If it also let you enter a time instead of just a day it would be great. Also the option to make the widget completely transparent. And maybe the ability to change the currency. Those sort of things make a 5 star app.

I like opening my phone and seeing the progress I have made in my goal to quit smoking. Right now I am 136 hours smoke free, baby! My 1 complaint is that my widget is not as large as it ought to be so the bottom half of the words are cut off. I'm keeping the widget because I can still tell what it says and I do kind of like that it is smaller.
