About Physiotherapy Help Guide
How can physiotherapy help you?
If you have a problem with moving or performing certain activities due to pain, weakness, loss of balance or other reasons, the physiotherapist will perform an assessment, make a diagnosis where necessary, and outline a management plan to optimise your abilities. Physiotherapists can help to manage acute injuries such as ankle sprains, knee, hip or shoulder injuries and chronic conditions like arthritis, back pain, diabetes and heart disease. Physiotherapy is a therapeutic health profession concerned with enhancing mobility and the quality of life of a person who may have been affected physically in one way or another. Physiotherapists aim to help people gain as much movement and physical independence as possible so that they are able to resume their normal job or lifestyle, where possible. The app also contains details of basic physiotherapy, benefits physiotherapy, type exercise physiotherapist, arthritis of the thumb, trigger finger, neck pain, low back pain, low back pain exercise, knee condition program, knee pain exercises, bowed legs, burning thigh pain, compartment syndrome, deep vein thrombosis, limb length discrepancy, clubfoot, exercise and bone health. This app will guide you through the rehabilitation process step by step to restore as much of your function as possible. Physiotherapy is also used after surgery, with the aim of speeding up recovery by getting a patient mobile as soon as possible. It also provides a useful baseline by which changes can be detected – often before the patient is aware of a degenerative problem. Even those without injury who are simply seeking to increase general health and fitness can benefit from physiotherapy. A physiotherapist can set you up with a home exercise program, facilitate community exercise sessions (or refer you to an appropriate service), guide you with your organised sport or gym program.
