Serious Paint for Android
I just downloaded and it kept crashing. I uninstalled it and now I am reinstalling again. Hope it works this time.No. Still crashing. Was looking forward to using it. I hope I can get a refund.
As a professionally trained artist, I have tried quite a number of android apps on my 12 inch note pro. This is by far the best for serious art, giving a great deal of choice of brush effects and almost infinite colour range. I am used to painting in oils and this reproduces the oil paint effect wonderfully. I highly recommend this app
The features are terrific would have given 5 stars but major lagging and freezes. Annoying! Uninstalled.
Intuitive painting app, excellent to use.
Great app lots of depth but I can't figure out how to blend with a dry brush.
Try for yourselves.
This developer blatantly ripped off the app Infinite Painter by Sean Brakefield. But Infinite Painter if you want a highly polished and professionally, and don't buy this ripoff unless you want an unoriginal, uncreative, hack of an app and like supporting thieves.
Absolutely one of THE BEST art apps I've ever seen on a tablet/phone platform, that can give any professional computer app a great run for its mone any day! I am VERY impressed with the great quality, huge variety & flexibility of the options, & the exceptional ease of use of this product. A child can use it because of the simplicity, yet produce a professional's quality artpieces. Can't recommend it highly enough. VERY GOOD!!!
I was recovering from back surgery when I discovered this wonderful app and it's creator (s?). They are friendly and helpful. They write you back should you have any questions. I am an artist and I was getting extremely depressed as I was dealing with surgeries the past couple of years (all better now tg). I was using Autodesk SBpro on an old tablet, which was ok but those guys are pretty greasy. Serious Paint is soooo awesomely wonderful . Its like turning on the lights. I wish you guys had more apps!
Still the best paint app for Android: Stable, support layers, no IAP and relatively fast compared to Infinite Painter.
i am using a samsung galaxy s5. is anyone else having trouble using this app? it lags, freezes and crashes almost every time i edit. sometimes when I try to draw, nothing happens. any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks
Tried the free version. Liked it. Purchased the upgrade - even better.
The last time I installed this app, it froze my device, I had reboot it. This time it opened and runs smoothly. I can finally play around with all the features. Thank you so much.
But now, the paid version is broken. It won't open. It just apologizes for closing. That's a bummer. I really liked it.
Aww, it was working well but when I tried to make a brush it froze my device and I had to reboot it. That kind of scared me so I refunded it. It's a great app, works nicely in the free version, but not for pro, at least not for me. Oh well.
Great app but have problems sharing to cloud storage.keeps telling me that the storage has stopped.
This is the best paint program that I've used! I love it. All the brush options and paint blending allows me too create realistic looking landscapes. I have so much fun with this app!
Have tried it for just a few minutes, no far, and it's quite easy to use; also gives very successful effects with a soft-dome stylus on a Nexus 7 2. Several other paint apps typically have me trying to figure out why it's so hard to figure out how to do the obvious. Hope to return with more comments.

Great
Wonderful!!!
Regret updating...have to type in jpg or png now in 'save', several other UI changes I don't care for...'protected' APK so couldn't backup the previous version. Probably going to uninstall (pd version)
Love the app but can't find a way to save new brushes
The best paint brushes I've been able to find on android. Works well with Samsung Galaxy Note 3, including S pen pressure.
l Love this ART APP
This is a very good drawing and paint app. Very easy to use yet with very good features. There is a variety of brushes to use and you can also modify and create your own. Havent figure how to adjust the size of eraser though. Anyways, this really a good deal.
Great, but I would like to have some optional and configurable onscreen icons for move, center and eraser.
I love this app. I enjoy sketching, painting and silhouette creating. All comes easy. Keep it up and Good luck.
Found the file browser and even got it to save files to the external SD card finally! Needed to long press on program generated file after using 'file' option. A little confusing and still not original file format as made by program, but at least is .png As a side note, this program is not the same as Infinite Painter. I've purchased both and there are distinct differences! There are excellent brush options here. I'd like to also create my own however. Keep working on it and don't allow competitors get away with running you or your customers off... and thanks for being so responsive.
The brushes are great - so easy to customize. My favorite feature is the color pallet.I have yet to see any better.
Love it. Great relaxation when travelling on business.
Refreshingly simple, yet remarkably powerful -- like a mature cheddar. The focus is very strongly on the act of painting itself. This is not for retouching or editing existing images, but rather for the act of creation. This application gripped me tightly, yet put me down softly.
I use this app on the Asus Tf101 and Asus Tf700 - This is just missing oil paint mixing tools (dirty/used brushes, a brush cleaning tool, a palette and knife to mix with) like with the Fresh Paint app which is sadly only on Win8. If you added those features this would be perfect... Oh, and can you add an option for higher resolution screens? I know they aren't that common yet, but they will be and the feather brush looks a bit odd on the bigger screens.
On the last update the program requests access to the phone-status and identity? Why on earth would a paint-program require access to that information? I don't know if i can still trust the people behind the program. For now I'm not updating, until a satisfactory explanation is given.
It would be nice to be able to blend the paint (it would move more after it is laid down). I would like more oily paint effects.
But now, the paid version is broken. It won't open. It just apologizes for closing. That's a bummer. I really liked it.
Full points in the brush response. It's the third best I've experienced so far on my Samsung Note. (behind Autodesk Sketchbook and the TVpaint beta) Layer palette with the blend mode options is great. And I really like the symmetry tools implementation. Suggestions: Brush reset to default option? Option to hide bottom corner icons until centre puck is tapped (they flicker too much when sketching). An option to turn off finger drawing for S-Pen users?
This is an interesting app with many good features although it needs a bit of refining. I buy apps to support the developer, and future updates. I hope to see more updates in the near future.
I am more of a doodle person, and love this app as it allows me to do just that. Quick access to the menus etc. The only thing I find highly annoying is that, when I turn of screen rotation, this app just doesn't care. Imagine drawing on paper and the paper automatically changing it orientation cos you moved.

Not my favorite. Just trying to save or merge layers is not very intuitive...maybe it's just a learning curve thing. I try almost all art and painting apps...shelved this one out of frustration.
