WeaRSS - Your News on Wear! for Android
If you fancy reading headlines on your androidwear this is what you are looking for. Does exactly what it says, and does it well. Only caveat is that maybe once in 5 times it force closes on opening, but works flawless afterwards. I will not remove a star for this.
Not supporting Hebrew language
Great for feed reader fans
REHASASAN
Great app
When I try to open the app on my moto360 it just says "unfortunately wearss has stopped".
Works well on LG G watch. No problem adding feeds, since I actually looked at the name of the app I was downloading & realized that I would need sites' RSS feeds, instead of installing without reading anything and rating 1 star because I'm a doofus who downloads RSS readers without knowing what a RSS is, makes no attempt to learn by looking @ the help tab or Googling it, and instead gets mad that the RSS reader won't let me add regular non-RSS URL's (Yeah I'm looking at you, Bill)
Given that the BBC news app doesn't work on my Huawei watch, I went looking for an alternative. RSS seemed like a good approach. Tried others which were problematic and chose this little gem. Works well on my wearable. Love it.
For the last time! Really nice app but needs to work on reliability, roughly 70% of the time when opening from the notification, it just gives the error and shuts down. Uninstalled. Sony z3 & moto 360 1st gen
Only works on the watch, when I select to read the rest on the phone it crashes, so kind of useless unless you want to read a few sentences only?:-( Disappointed
This app turned out to be exactly as awesome as I hoped it would be. Gives you enough text of the article to let you decide if it's one you're interested in reading in full on your phone at a later time. It's great to get a heads up and stay connected with what you're interested in on the go. Additionally, the developer was very quick and detailed with a response to me regarding an issue I was facing. Always great to see devs that actually care what people think of their app. Pocket support is awesome!!
Would be perfect app if autoupdate frequency worked, but it does not. Have to update feeds manually instead of selected each hour
Just bought the app bundle for android wear. Every time I try to add a feed, the app crashes. I would like a refund please. If it worked it would awesome, but it doesnt
Every time I try to add a feed the app closes and doesnt respond.
Works great, but crashes when I choose read later.
Does not sync automatically. And have to add sources by copying and letting the app add it, or the app crashes.
I don't understand WHY you have to type in a monstrously long URL into your phone to get this to a wearable. IF you don't have to do that....then HOW DO you get new RSS feeds into the phone to send to the wearable? I don't see any "help" button on this app. I'm willing to pay for this, but right now I don't see it's usefulness. All I can get is the 3 sample feeds. Surely... surely, you've made it easier than this. I'm looking for the "grab RSS feeds button' so I can go to a site and grab the URL
The app is perfect and does exactly what I wanted. The only problem is I even though I have it set to sync every three hours, have to sync it manually by going on to my phone. I'm using the LG urbane watch.
Sony xperia z ultra + Sony smartwatch 3: when I click on read later the app crashes. otherwise cool as I can set my own news feed on the smartwatch
Fitness wrist watch made life easier and better
I would like to see an option to dismiss news you have already read. At the moment there is no way to get back to the first article without swiping 20+ times
I love the concept. But the app crushes when adding rss so I can't get to use it
With the latest version it became impossible to read cyrillic... Any clue on it?
Must use a link to an actual file. Some rss feeds don't make that public (Slashdot for example)
Great for feed reader fans
Multiple crashes with different news feeds.
I like it
Not working
But I'd pay to get rid of the advertisement. Would it be possible to read the full article on the watch unlike reading them on the phone and would it be possible to view pictures related to the headlines on the watch?
When I try to open the app on my moto360 it just says "unfortunately wearss has stopped".
This app is good, but it isn't showing up on my watch
5 stars when I can kill the adds.
zero
Flop

It doesn't work
Crashed every time i tried to add a RSS
So im diggin my android wear watch it integrates well with my day to day activities however i am still very new using rss feeds I think me and even possibly more people would use rss if I or more people knew how to get the rss url's I went looking for the past hour only but I cant seem to find them easily is there an easier way that im mising ?
I wasn't able to try this out since I couldn't add feeds. I gave up after the fourth try.
