“WODIRU” is the plural for food in the Kassem language. The Kasena people are found in Navrongo[Upper East Region ]
Many of our indigenous recipes, drinks and snacks are passed down from generation to generation by oral tradition especially through our mothers. Hence, if you were not a friend of the kitchen, you will not know how several of Ghana’s sumptuous meals are prepared. It is a great idea but it would have been better if video tutorials were included...Cooking is rather practical, theory is not enough. Good initiative though!
