Sound Blaster X7 Control

The X7 is a great piece of hardware, loving it, but the control app is not as polished as it can be. For instance, it takes 10-20 seconds of navigation to simply control the volume of the device. Could I suggest that the volume control be added to the notification bar, just like how you can control effects and such?

Powerful device with an ugly app. The app is functional and advanced, but terrible UX. Please add volume control to notification bar. Ideally I would love a simple app with just volume control and mute options. Without a physical remote control for X7, app is the only way to change volume and it is deeply hidden inside.

I have been able to make sense of the app and use it effectively but I am having a few issues. First, the app only works in landscape mode. This sometimes causes Android to get stuck in landscape as well unless I turn the screen on/off. Second, many of the different tabs are clipped by the menu causing feature buttons to be obscured. Third, when connecting manually by Bluetooth the app fails to connect immediately. Usually takes a few tries, but then stays connected. Fourth, when taking phone calls, the device will not resume source audio without power cycling the x7 after a call has ended. I am using a nexus 6p with android 7. Not sure what firmware the x7 has as I haven't checked yet.

I have note 4, android 6. Bluetooth disconnects randomly. And x7 won't connect automatically.

The app wants full access to my entire phone. No thanks. I just wanted to control my expensive SB from my phone. Guess I'll have to turn the volume knob manually

Hi. Souns great and is extremely versatile Been using x7 on both mac and win 10 always runing into a variety of bugs in my 2 years of using this device almost daily having to go back and forth beetwen drivers and firmware updates frequently as bugs suddenly pops out of. Suddenly losing sound

It's not working samsung on5.I think better apps for music player are Poweramp,XTZ Dsp,Xplayer 3d, ArmAmp.

Getting Bluetooth only

Once turn off cast in YouTube, there is no way to turn on cast. Only possible in YouTube again. Please benchmark the Chromecast how it works. Bluetooth turn on /off is not enough but cast on/off need. And make volume control BIGGER on center screen. Other options are only important at the begining. And add volume control in notification control bar. The fx options are nothing important once setup....totally wrong. Useless.

This thing is crushing the Astro mixamp (imo)!!! Everything you could want in a sound device. I bought this as a replacement for my Astro mixamp and to power my audiophile headphones. Passing with flying colors so far. The only thing it doesn't provide that I'm use to having is direct chat for console and chat/game control. Other than that, I still like it better than the mixamp.

Adjusting volume is troublesome having to open the app to adjust. Fine adjustments are also hard. Volume control from the pull down task bar would help alot. A volume knob would also be better than a slider

The application works wonderfully the only thing it's missing is the ability to modify the eq settings which ends up being a big issue with how the mic is tuned out of the box

I had the Soundblaster Pro, I added q much more professional wave card to it.Am I joking, "no"the professional wave sound enhancemencer, you could hook up instruments into it. You could add inbound and outbound plugs into it. You could do a lot more to it.

Kinda flaky, just like the desktop app.

Its OK but not perfect, it needs a more straight forward volume control like a widget or something. I find it annoying to have to enter the app and slide down this small menu just to change the volume

This app can remote controls the DSP in X7....cool.

Absolutely enjoyed it. Enhances my audio experience.
