Glycemic Index & Load Diet Aid for Android
Nice that it has index but dev shouldn't list as "free app" only to require pay for a basic eature like glycemic load... misleading. Wasted my time, instant delete.
Free should mean free, not that you have to pay for nesessary features. Very deceptive. Tutorials are not sufficient to help you understand how the functions work. If I find a better app I will uninstall this one.
World of infomation! I have diabetes and CKD. Lowering carbs and knowing their effects on blood sugar is not only essential but critical to my survival. This app, when purchasing the full options, has about everything you need to succeed.
I have type 1 diabetes and recently started insulin pump therapy. This app will be a great help to my glucose control. I also love how simple and uncluttered the app looks :)
Not clear from description that the only free part of the food lists is the GI- have to pay to see carbs and load. No way to know if the item i looked up is the type i use- for example i drink unsweetened almond milk, almond milk is on the list but no indication whether the one they listed means sweetened or unsweetened. So ifc i havd to go scouring tbe internet with e very single lookup, why bother with this app? I downloaded looking for something to give me a quick lookup capability but this ill only make the process more frustrating if anything. Just LoVed seeing the develooer argue with half the reviewers. One man it was about a comment about basic foods like egg not being on the list.... a way to solve the ( well it doesnt have a gi so no point putting it on the list) problem, is to add basic foods to the list and give them a gi of zero. Most people wanting to download apps like this are new to the diabetes or glycemic index game and are looking to learn by seeing that info where carbs and sugars are hiding in everyday foods where we may not have realised. Adding no gi basic foods would make the list more complete and more useful.
Very useful when eating out and shopping as a fairly new diabetic, helping me stay well controlled... green for go!!! Also like the fact you are not bombarded with advertising!
Its ok. Needs more food items added to the database. And free app should mean free, not have to pay for additional features.
Very good helpful app, I have been using it for one day only but I have dropped my blood sugar by 70 points by planning my meals with it, I will keep using this app for a long time to come!
Ok Sorry I'm not tech savvy. How Do I get the extra feature?
Gives me the information I need to stick to a low glycemic diet quickly so I'm not running to my computer to look foods up.
Very disappointed, the part I needed was a pay portion of the app no good,
Easy to use and great library! Recommend this to my npatients looking for a tool to have on phone/tablet.
Wonderful app. Glycemic effect is really more important than merely low carb. Why? Because, some low carb foods are somewhat high on the GI. This app helps me choose the very best low GI/low carb foods. Bravo!!
After buying needed features my food table speaks different language that I want, and list of favourite products is always coming back to stuff I didn't choose and which I even don't eat!
No wholemeal or granary breads shown. Surprisingly heavy on battery - most likely due to the long lists requiring heavy CPU usage when navigating.
This is a great guide for me, it helps a lot to constantly identify food, veggies and fruits suitable for my diabetes. Thank you so Much!
Quick guide for GI in foods. Great for travel or when at office party.Make a wise plan stay on course! Love it
If you are a type 1 diabetic, this app is a must have. Knowing a food's carbohydrates, glycemic index and glycemic load is critical in making good food choices decesions
Doesn't have individual products like my fitness pal
Always asks for you to pay for other apps,
just awesome. you have no idea how happy I was when I tapped Persian and food list was actually in Persian. great work.
To many interruptions with messages
Way too hard to use like the friendliness of the Builder butt way too hard to use
I like the app. I wish that it would track protein and fat. If so, I would give it 5 stars.
Glad I found you, My Glycemic Index!
Has just the information I need to make wise choices when I'm shopping for food.
Please include Indian foods
Very nice. It should go on updating with different foods of India

I imagine creating an app like this is very time consuming, so I greatly respect and appreciate the amount of effort that went into it. I think in time, it can only get better. Once I figure out how to use it, I found it totally acceptable for what I need. I feel like this app will help me to learn how to make better choices to reduce my pre-diabetic symptoms. Thank you!
