1. Variety of search methods
You can find your key with combination of variety of search criteria ( Instacode, Silca-code, maker, type of key, number of cut and alignment ) out of 103 maker’s 719 mobile keys.
2. Easy-to-understand key naming
With Photo-Key-Reader’s original key name, which is a combination of Silca-code, number of cut and Instacode, you can easily distinguish your key.
For example, “HYN14 10Cuts No.1098” means a key using Silca code HYN14 key blank, key format of Instacode 1098 and has 10 cuts.
3. Simple usage
Even a beginner can read a key without difficulty, only if he align vertically, fit depth line and pin line as the App guides.

Loads fine but just cant tell a GM 10 Cut from a High Security Hyundai blade. And that's with it perfectly aligned with a crystal clear photo.

Make sure you select "Built-in camera app" before you take the photo or it will crash. I try decoding an 8 cuts Y160 and it works. I'm a locksmith since 1996 so it wasn't too hard for me. I love this app. I'm using a galaxy s4

Crashes every time I try to take a pic. Droid4. Update: got a reply to review suggesting I turn on the "use camera app" option in settings before taking the pic and that fixed the crash problem. Good tech support. Thanks.
