I followed the instructions, then when I rebooted all I got was a black screen. Every time I tried to open an app it was closed instantly. my phone lagged like mad. I thought this app had destroyed my phone. I was by some miracle able to uninstall it (several atempts, cache wipes and reboots later). my next option would have been a factory reset! This app never did what it was meant too do and could have left damage! Don't use it!

Wish it worked with virtual buttons like on ICS or JB.

Not working on Galaxy S 4

My security software told me to delete this due to security problems. NOTE: if this app has messed up your phone, try rebooting it in safe mode, and then deleting it.

I downloaded this so that I could use it to add the screenshot function to the home button, but it looks like all this does is launch apps and doesn't include system functions. Not terrible because I suppose it could be useful, but not really what I was looking for

Double tap doesnt work on Galaxy Note ICS, it used to work on Gingerbread Pls fix it

Crashed my phone a bit. Works as advertised, would be good if once in the launcher, it returned to the homescreen if home button was pressed again

Although the double tap works great the home key doesn't actually go to the homepage of the home screen it just goes to whatever home page you were on prior (there should be a checkbox or option for which of the screens to go to when pressing once on the home button), which was disappointing and I'm still looking for a proper solution. This is a Galaxy Note III. I also didn't want to have a button laying around for gallaxy 2 that could be pressed accidently that does permanent damage. It should detect devic

Works perfectly. Can't rate this highly enough! Got rid of that stupid s voice and can use Google now as home button double tap!

This have caused a lot of problems on my note 4! I originally downloaded this because I do not like s voice, & I wanted a way to allow double press of the home button Google now. The app cause nothing but problems and basically froze my phone. I had to factory reset to get things back to normal. I'm blaming Samsung for this one but just my advice stay away!

Lucky I could reach settings from notification bar. Uninstalled it.

At last i found a way to disable the double tap voice. It works on mine.

I was hoping to launch the native task switcher upon double home. Not possible with this app. This would be a great addition if developer is willing...

It disables the default home double tap as promised. in order to assign a new function pls follow instructions: in app manager choose TWlauncher (thats the default S2 launcher) and click on reset defaults. And the S2 hack, as stated, is irreversible. You can't set it back to voice commands, the default home button double tap configuration.

it works perfectly to me, you guys, I know whays wrong with you, you are simply STUPID!! when you lunch this app, there are 2 buttons to use: - Set the app to lunch when u double tap AND a BBOUTTON WHERE YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO SET YOUR DEFAULT LAUNCHER. so use them both, don't be stupid...

This app is exactly what I need for my phone. But it simply doesn't work.

Doesn't work for my S2 rooted 4.2.2 Paranoid Android and unrooted 4.1.2. Doesn't say what it does and also tried on S3. And I obviously done everything and doesn't work. Dev need to have more support for roms and other phones.

Double press only works when I'm on the home screen. When I'm on an app and I double press home, I'm transferred to home, and not my double press app

This app killed my phone, causing it to stop loading the homescreen or allow access to task manager, i now have to do a hard reset of my galaxy s2 because i cant access my phone anymore. this app should be taken off the market.

I followed the instructions and after rebooting, I don't see the home screen anymore. What's worse is that the single click home button doesn't work. Slow double click does go to the app that I reprogrammed to which was Vlingo. A quick double click goes to the default Voice Command application. Now I'm going to uninstall this and hope everything goes back to normal (since I still have access to Task Manager via holding Home key).

Didn't work, didn't break anything but tried the Samsung galaxy hack and it didn't work. Shame all I want to do is get rid of the double tap home button.

Now I can use my home bottom to lunch the apparently I want by press twice. Yet, then if I want to get back to my home screen there's nothing I can do, beside keep pressing the go back key. Press once = nothing happened. Press twice. = camera (my ideal apparently)

Tentatively, this seems to work on a galaxy S III running JB, but I had already uninstalled S Voice and most of the other Samsung apps and I also am rooted. Will advise again in a few weeks. UPDATE: I've noticed that when I press the home button while using the launcher, this app causes the launcher to restart, and doesn't send the 'home' signal to the launcher. Can be frustrating when trying to go to my main screen.

Do exactly what it says and it will do exactly what it says, minor quibble I set the system to recognize AHB as the default launcher, I set AHB to my preferred launcher, and I set AHB's double tap where I wanted it to go, and it works just the way it's supposed to. However, it hogs the home button from the launcher. When I'm in the launcher and press Home, it just blinks the screen and stays where it is in the launcher rather than performing the launcher's home button action. I emailed the developer, so maybe this will be addressed soon.

When mapping Google Voice Search to double tap home, it instead launches voice dialer. I think it has to do with the way Voice Search is called, since a bluetooth headset behaves similarly when calling Voice Search. Running on my Samsung Galaxy S Relay 4G with Android 4.1.2.

I have SG2. After installing this app the phone "got lost", but i saved it! :D This is how: Long press the home button, select task manager, then downloaded, find "advanced home button" and delete it! the next time you press home ut will ask you to choose program, select your favorite and its done. hope it was helpfull!
