Updated app feb 14 and now it doesn't run. Same issue to report as others. Hopefully there is a fix asap. I am surprised it wasn't tested before being released.

App doesn't work after update on android

Terrible application. Horribly designed and works poorly.

Update "Did the update yesterday and app will no longer communicate with the tub. No spa Boy info either. Uninstalled app and tried to install it again..... Same result. This app sucks. Did you even test the update before rolling it out? Thankfully the app for the iPad still works." With the cost of the tub I demand a much better app. Lack of information and the constant connection issues. It's just flat out the poorest excuse for an app. Love the tub..... Hate the app. Arctic spa, get it together!

It used to work about 90% of the time to connect and be able to view and modify the temperature and settings of my tub. Since the latest update it is completely broken 99% of the time. How did they manage to justify releasing a broken app to people that paid upwards of 25k for a hot tub? This seems insane.

Same problem as everyone else. Updated firmware now it will not connect to tub..I suppose that it is good news that they are trying to fix this app however. it has been very spotty since I bought tub 16 months ago. Not working out as hoped-for, a vacation home tool to control temp and sanitation. Back to test striping and shock

When I set my router to channel 6, can connected the spa to it, it seemed to have a better connection but still wouldn't work sometimes. When I tried to connect the tub to my wifi router it never seemed to stay connected. I then saw that you need to set your wifi router to channel 6. I decided on hard ethernet wire to my router instead bc the"globalspa" password is not configurable. Anyone that sees and arctic WAP, can connect to it, and if it's connected to your home wifi, they now have free access to your internet (very insecure). With had wire the app connects reliably. For app improvements, I would suggest to add a save button on the power management (main and peak hours) page and a popup that the settings were saved. It seems that a lot of times my changes wouldn't save when I backed out and came back to the window to look at the settings again. It never saves if you use "< Power Management" button on the top left. I had to use my phone's back arrow to get it to save. Arctic should trash the wifi router option and just add a quality powerline ethernet adapters to the spas, this would be more secure and reliable and shouldn't have as much problems as wifi.

Upgraded phone app and spa firmware. Now i cant communicate with tub. Update. Can now communicate. Spaboy is slow to load.

Unable to do anthing after the update. Spa boy is not showing at all, only the buttons. When I try to update the firmware app crashes. So far I am very disappointed

Similar issue as others. Can not access from phone app. Please fix

I'm using this app for the first time and it's been working great! Seems like the previous versions have had issues, but 4.0.4 seems solid. I did hear about SpayBoy connectivity problems when researching it so i ran a hardwire Ethernet line directly to the hottub before installation. It connects to a switch which then connects to my main router, due to the distance. I've had no issues with connectivity and it's been rock solid over home network and via cloud. I would like to see more details or info buttons in the app (explain what the various symbols represent), reason for the 4 stars. The user manuals are nice, but they do not explain the application itself. It would also be amazing if you could select the lights color from that app, instead of having to toggle through each of them!!!

The idea behind the app is fantastic. Unfortunately, it never works. It really, never works. I have had the tub for over a month and it has not worked once. Fix it!

Did the update on my phone and now the app does not seem to talk to the tub and does not show any of the spaboy data. It will also not do the firmware update for the tub. This app is still working with my tablet as I have not done the update with it. Do not updated your app. Also why do I have to go through 4 steps just to open this app. Open the app, select how to connect, hit login, select the tub. What the hell! Why is it dedicated apps like this suck so bad?

I did the update, big mistake, it will not run now. Test the app. before putting it out.

Very finicky app. It can work fine for weeks then suddenly disconnect and not work. Spent hours of my life trying to sort the connection issues out with no luck. This app really needs an overhaul, new look, and a proper tech to sort out the bugs.

Love the new boost feature! On the latest versions and firmware and everything works perfectly every time...talk about convenient!!! Side loaded on my passport and exactly the same experience. As communicated with tech support, id like to request being able to see tubs perceived time of day, and id love to be able to activate Boost mode through app as well. Love our Arctic Ocean!

For those with wifi problems you can alternatively do Ethernet over power. Only problem I ever had with it was my old router's fault not the tub or the app. Works great especially after a water change to speed up heating process.

Had error code and could not control the lights. I then clicked on the gear symbol and updated the firmware was 3.23 now it's 3.30. All good now. When clicked update firmware didnt look like anything was happening I waited 3 min seen that the app discounted then i reconnect. Firmware said 3.30 3.30 up to date.

Since the last update I can no longer connect to the hottub. Fix it.

Nothing but problems from day 1

Since the last update I cannot connect to my hot tub. Worst money I've ever spent on a gimmick that won't work. I'm on a Samsung and my husband is on an iPhone. Neither work and the signal from the hot tub is strong. Extremely disappointed. Can't get it to work on my home network either.

Unfortunately the Epic Ocean I have only will connect to the Wi-Fi network if it's using channel 6. in my neighborhood that is a very busy channel. it would be nice to hook up to wifi using another channel.

Wanted to buy this hot tub ...untill I found out this app doesn't work.

I had nothing but problems with it since I bought it brand new. Been 2 years now and I can't even count how many times I've had to power down hot tub to reset the bloody Wi-Fi !!

WI fi signal is strong but I can't connect to the spa. Basically useless

Would be nice to have boost function

Works sort of. Can not connect from newest Android 5 lollipop over WiFi . Nor for Googles latest 5.1 update. Google broke the P2P capability on lollipop release and Arctic spa has not fixed yet. Works over remote web interface but only because we had set it up before latest release.

Every time they update this app for Android I lose connectivity. Had my tub for 6 weeks and the WiFi is down more than up.

I can control my spa feely

Feb.15 will not work with my samsung s5 phone. It is down totally and I can't check the status of my arctic spa. It would be nice if they would fix asap.

New update in the last week will NOT run ...Motorola android phone.... Irritating. Pls FIX

No longer works. The app just shuts down as soon as I try to connect.

The latest update crashes every time you try to connect. Was 4 star before that.

This app would be great if you would fix the issue with power management / peak hours! Every time you try and select the option, the app crashes.

Have been using this app for awhile now. Never did get the cloud connection working and took some time and frustration to get wifi mode working. As of today it crashes on startup on both my android phone and tablet!

Works perfect when spa is hard wired to your home router... Allows you to use from anywhere
