CrashboxxSCORE measures the behavior of drivers and scores each and every trip. Score is an ideal driver behavior solution permitting insurers or fleets to objectively measure the driving performance of their employees or insureds.

The application measures the driver’s inputs to the vehicle, including speed, distance driven, harsh acceleration, heavy braking and cornering. Every trip is scored out of 100. When the driver exceeds a preset limit for a given driving mode (e.g. speed or acceleration) an “event” is declared, and points are deducted. Drivers are informed of a point deduction during their trip via an audible tone from their smartphone. The application has been developed not to distract a driver, and the system cannot be viewed when the vehicle is in motion.

Other features include:

2. Ranking Vs other drivers in a group to motivate drivers to be the best they can be
3. ECO driving scored based on MPG
4. Trip start/end details including date, time and addresses
