El 7 de Mayo de 1989 nace en Chepes FM "Orion", este medio de comunicacion oral, de sentida necesidad en nuestra ciudad, por iniciativa del Prof. Luis Alberto vega, acerca distancias, difunde cultura y colabora solidariamente con la poblacion.


La vida de la Radio fue creciendo y sus programas los llevan a cabo jovenes valores que estan demostrando tener vocacion para esta profesion.

Desde el primer momento la Radio fue para toda la poblacion el nexo que faltaba en nuestra ciudad para unir a sus habitantes por esa razon se acuñó el slogan "La Radio que une a la gente"...
