It is necessary to set CPR Call Blocker as the default SMS app. SMS Blocking works for Android 4.4 & above versions due to limitations in earlier Android which allow only one app to manage SMS messages.
Currently the APP is having some problems with marshmallow, an update will be provided shortly.

UPDATE: I used to love this little app but now I know what it isn't... It isn't an app that does anything. I will be searching yet again for a call blocker. This is just a space user. Sad really, it has such potential. I don't recommend this app as it doesn't do anything but sit there.

It would be more useful if you add white list, block all contacts except contacts in white list. It is not nice to add 4000 contacts in block list minus 5 ->10 that you want to allow

The reason I chose this among many other apps is the promise of a pre-loaded list of spamming numbers, but unfortunately in 1 year it never blocked a single spam call (I receive 2 per week on average). It works only if you manually add the number, but this is useless in my case since the spammers always change number.

Please fix the bug that causes me to get 2 notifications at the same time for SMS messages, it is quite annoying. But overall, the app is great at blocking the calls.

Grateful for the update. Reinstalled and still not blocking anything, isn't that the purpose of the app? No reduction in nuisance calls or sms and now locked on sms screen. Tried stopping app and restarting but if try to get to another screen it shuts down. Very disappointed. Install, reinstall is only temporary fix.

I've had this installed for about a month now and don't see where it is doing anything. Still get robo calls. They are just new numbers that have not been blocked. Edit: Yep...Pretty much useless. Has never blocked a call, because the scammers change their number more frequently than I change underwear (which is daily)
