Bluetooth connect & Play

Installed this app on my Pixel 2 and it works wonderfully. Not only does it bring up the music player I want when I get into my car, but you can define different apps for different Bluetooth devices. So when I get in my car I get Play Music, when I connect my projector I get Hulu, when I connect my plantronics headset for taking calls NOTHING Happens - Just as I specified. Carl Parziale has provided us with the cleanest and most useful app I have tried in years. Bluetooth connect & Play is a "must have" for anyone with multiple bluetooth devices, or anyone who wants to control what happens when they connect. And It's FREE!

Works brilliantly on my Nexus 5. WiFi kill and reconnect are fantastic, so streaming over 3G work is perfect. Tried it on my WiFi only Nexus 9, but alas, it does something to the WiFi slowing it down to a crawl. Was hoping this might solve the Bluetooth/wireless streaming issue that seems to be stuck in Android. If that is an issue and not just me, I'll bump to 5 stars if it gets fixed

This app is neat, and allows you to customize a specific app to open should any specific Bluetoothdevice be connected. However, it doesn't recognize PLEX as an app to launch when connected - which happens to be the app I play my musicwith the most. This may be more of an issue with the fact that the PLEX app does more than just music though. Still a very cool application that helps solve a problem that shouldn't exist in the Android phone OS (not being able to turn off auto play on bluetooth connection).

Used to work great but now (after a recent update?) Pandora no longer loads as it should (used to) when synced to Mazda3. Instead, car gives a "Pandora app not found" message each time making this app completely useless whereas it used to work. Sad...

I use this for my motorcycle headset. When I turn on my device it automatically starts my music app. No messing with phone with riding gloves on. I control my music app feom handlebar device so it just makes life easier. I used to fumble around starring apps and junk like after a fuel stop then playing catch up to buddies who were already gone or waiting for me to fumble. Now none of that... turn on helmet and go.

This app used to work great, then something happened; either a system update or an app update made it not work as well. Now, when the music (GPM) starts up after a BT connect, it's "skip... skip... skip... ... skip..." then play the music. The trouble is, is that other apps that do the same thing as this app want WAY too many permissions, so we're kinda stuck here.

This app solved Bluetooth connection problems in my car. Now I just turn on bluetooth n start driving. Music plays automatically.

Hopefully this app gets Android Oreo support soon with the increased volume steps so it doesn't keep playing at half volume when connected to my vehicles Bluetooth

So after each boot, I need another app to wake up this app first, then this one wakes up my player on Bluetooth connection? No thanks.

I used to love this app, but after getting a new phone I realized it had been doing something undesirable all along. When this app is enabled, Bluetooth is VERY flaky, whenever I use a game controller, the inputs seem cached, there is a ton of lag. I thought this was my phone at first, as the One Plus One is known to have BT issues. But when I switched to my Note8, I started having the same issues after installing this app.

Love the app however the volume control doesn't work properly with my Pixel 2 XL. I think Google added about twice as many media volume steps for the Pixel 2s. I'm guessing this is why max volume in the app is only about half volume in Android.

Disabled app after latest update! It turns up the media volume as I set it to do but it doesn’t change it back after disconnection. Also it starts playing music in the phone speakers after losing Bluetooth connection from the car. Once a great app but now useless, will uninstall if next update doesn’t fix the problem. Phone: Samsung S6 Car: BMW Changed phone to Samsung S8+ still dosen't change volume back to default volume but atleast it stopped playing after disconnect.

Does what it says on the tin. For some reason podcasts were playing as default when I started my car. Thanks to this simple app, Spotify now resumes immediately when I start my engine and podcasts only play when I choose.

Years later this is still the only bt app that works for me and Carl's support has been amazing though I haven't needed it in over a year. Android 7+ will need to remove it from battery optimization, but this isn't this apps problem or fault by any means.

Finally a Bluetooth auto connect program that works!! When I get into my car this automatically connects to it and starts Spotify from my last played. I would rate higher if that was possible.

Wow - I don't Normally Review but Needed an App to Start Pandora and Set Media Volume at Full - Upon Bluetooth Connecting to My Vehicle - Works Perfect - Every time - All the Time!

This app is incredibly useful. Volume setting doesn't seem to work on the Pixel 2 as it had on my other phones. Otherwise, perfect.

Worked ok for about 1 week, now whenever I go into the tweaks menu listening for Bluetooth is off, it turns itself on when I open the tweaks screen, but it's clearly not retaining the listening setting

Since the latest update this app works great. Launches spotify as soon as a bluetooth connection is established and there is no longer a 2-3minute wait for music playback, its immediate.

Something lately seems to Lock all volume controls even for Presets where features are not Volume Locked. Otherwise it WAS amazing to easily switch settings from Car to Work and Home.

Great app. Was able to get my phone to stream to my home stereo. It didn't even see the Bluetooth receiver before I installed this app.

Doesn't work correctly anymore. Used to, but now I can't even tell it's installed so going to remove it.

I HATE when developers constantly messes with apps till they MESS IT UP!!! This app has been rock solid for a couple yrs for me, & now it's pretty much USELESS! Smh Why can't y'all just leave things the way they are!?!?

Used to work fine on my OnePlus 3T with Spotify, but like many other people, the recent 3.12 app update has broken that. Will only give it 3 stars for now but will amend if it is fixed. If others are reading, I recommend you install the older version by getting the apk file from a safe site, and then leaving auto updates off for the app on the play store, it's definitely the new update that ruined the auto play feature which was the only reason I used this app. Best of luck in getting this fixed devs.

This works fine with Deezer and auto plays music without having to touch the phone, this is great when connect to car and can have music play without touching the phone, but I have since switched to Apple Music and while it auto opens the app, the music will not play unless you press the play button in the app on the phone
