Bluetooth Connect & Stop Play

It works to pause music the first time you get into the car and connect to BT. But then music restarts after anything like a traffic report or a short stop. I've now found a better solution by creating a silent MP3 track which I make my phone play on repeat.

I had to uninstall it as it randomly pauses my music and it's not connected to any Bluetooth devices. I just have a headset plugged in wired and I have to pull my phone out of my pocket to resume play very irritated please fix

Had really hoped this would be the answer to music/podcast starting automatically everytime I switched to bluetooth or end a call in my car. I just want to use the gps on my phone NOT listen to music. It worked the first time and then never again after that. I would definitely be willing to try again if there are updates.

The Play Music app still starts and sometimes plays for a second when Bluetooth connects. Then it gets paused. It is not this app's fault, and it is better than nothing, but it's more of a bandaid than a fix.

It was driving me nuts Thankyou this issue is prevalent with all smartphones those who know say it is the car software iPhone Android it's happens with all.

Galaxy S7 Edge. Works, but after a phone call across blue tooth, music starts again and does not stop.

This is a much needed app, but if you have multiple players, such as different streaming players, some of them may start while others stop.

This app works for preventing my Honda Accord's crappy Bluetooth system from blasting music 30 seconds after I start the engine. Thank you! I gladly donated through the app.

Doesn't always work, but I'd say 75% of the time it does its job.

It stop my note 4 from autoplay music when connected to my car.

Works the first time. However after any call music starts again. I make/receive many phone calls on the road, so it didn't really help me

Cool app. Works most of the time. My only complaint is that on my Moto X 2014 it launches my ESPN app (maybe first alphabetical media app?) in my tray when the bluetooth connects. It did the same with the other Bluetooth Play Action app. If anything I'd like it to open Play Music in my tray with my last song cued up. If there were a way to designate a default player in the app, I'd add the 5th star. :) Thanks!

i love this app and i really hate default samsung auto music and im fed up of listening to it whenever i srart my car or afteri receive or make call.

...to start the player again manually! :(

Here is what used to happen, I would be listening to a podcast get a call and the after call the stock samsung player would kick on. Same deal when I would restart the car. with my note 2, this never happened. The app I was using would start playing once call ended or when I restarted the car. Now, with your app nothing starts which is better but I'm hoping you can add more options for individual apps. Make sense?

At first, Note 4 still started playing every time it connects to the car, just took a couple minutes longer. Now seems to block the behavior as expected. This is a long standing flaw in android os.

Does not work on HTC M8. The test works but that's it.

Worked pretty good prior to the update, but not working anymore. Hoping this will be an easy fix for the dev. You think they would have this feature by default in the OS.

A useful solution to what shouldn't be a problem. There's no logical reason why there's no Android setting to say don't autoplay on connect, so we need third party apps to do it.

Obviously still getting player self started.... Lollipop 5.1.1

It's supposed to stop the auto play but instead it stops me from playing Bluetooth music altogether. Already left a review with one star but apparently they didn't like it

Upon starting car my music used to auto start and play every time. This app stops the music player. 5 stars if you get it to stop the connection to media player all together.

I have a Samsung Note 3. I had hopes that this app would stop the native music app from turning itself on. Didn't.

Killed the Samsung Music Player as advertised - all I wanted to do but couldn't !!

Needed a way for the music to not start playing every time I got in my car. This did the trick.
