Cozi Family Organizer for Android
Simply the best family organiser app available. We've maintained a family subscription for three years, now, and we use it to plan all our events, meals, shopping, to-do lists, birthday reminders, etc. I cannot say enough about it. It's the ONLY app I would struggle to live without! Just get it! :)
Very helpful keeping a family of five on the same page with various appointments; is made it even better by being able to choose who gets notified, reminders and ease of updating if something changes. Huge time-saver with the ability to sync school and other calendars. The ability to add to a grocery list when somebody is at the store and can see it in real time without constant text messaging or calling has proven to be beneficial on more than one occasion. I do have a Samsung 7s Edge and it does freeze often when opening but eventually starts up. Even with that I'm leaving it at five stars
It has been very helpful in coordinating 3 of our work schedules, many appointments, and activities. We even use it to schedule "fun time". The lists are easier to use than I thought! It has replaced my assortment of post-it notes I kept all over the place! ????
Great family planner!! Syncs all of our activities in real time. I do wish that they would add a feature to the list option that would sort items that are not checked to the top of the list and those that are checked to the bottom (helps with recurring grocery lists, you see what you need first)
Love this app. Organizes all my lists and allowed my son to add items to his list of things needed me to bring him when he was in college. My only qualm is that it's too easy to accidentally delete items on a list while scrolling through the list. Maybe an undo for deleted items would be great or a confirmation on swiped deletes before it actually removes the item from the list.
Good ap, currently using free vs. Will mist likely get the paid vs so can have multiple notifications. **UPDATE: Paying now for full version, couldn't be happier! Hubby and I can now manage work, appts, and kids activities all from the same calendar. And the Lists feature ROCKS!
I was overwhelmed when I opened the App. Why do I need to log in first? Can I just take my time knowing the app 1st before deciding to login? And I was actually expecting a very simple to do list but there's too much going on in there! ???? the simpler the better! Uninstalled.
I absolutely love the calendar, to do lists and shopping list. My teens & husband all have access to the calendar and lists. Each of us can see the items on the calendar by looking at the widget. I have reminders set to remind of an important appoints days ahead or an hour before. No missed appointments. Can't recommend this app enough
Best organization app I have ever used. Only gave 4 stars and won't upgrade to pro because it's too easy to start swiping and delete an entry. If you swipe accidentally it should give you an undo option before permanently deleting. Please consider this.
I'm going to base this review off the price they think the app is worth. You pay $30 to view a full month calender instead of scrolling through dates. Pretty ridiculous and not worth it. Lacks any type of feature worth the $30 price tag you have to pay more then once. As a free app, it is great and convenient. Love it. Keeps me and my families busy schedule from being a hassle. Chose this app so the one iPhone user in the family can sync up with us androids too. Just wish could view a full month calender for less then $30.
My only problem with the app is that it is far too easy to inadvertently erase an item from a list. The slightest unintentional swipe will erase and item off of a list. We are constantly erasing things from the grocery list and then struggling to figure out what it was which is difficult because our whole family contributes to the list.
They really need an "undo" button. I've lost count of the number of times I've accidentally deleted something on my list. On top of that there's no "contact use button, which is very strange. Otherwise, this app is pretty good and I like how it's cross platform.
I downloaded it to color code my weeks of work and weeks off. Found out you have to pay if you want to view anything outside of daily calendar. No problem I'll just delete my account, oh no I won't because you have to sign in to the website to do that! Man I can't wait until they sell my email address and I receive tons of spam!! Garbage.
Tried the free version so we can scrap our paper calendar. I find it very good although some items have moved around for no reason, but maybe that is user error. If I could suggest an improvement it would be if you could photograph paper e.g invites, school sports arrangements etc and attach them to a calendar event for all to view (then destroy the hard copy). Otherwise we have to have part app, part hard copy, which defeats the object. If the app was upgraded to include this we would pay for it. Developers please note.
This app is worth its weight in gold. It's vastly improved my life and helped my mental health. It helps me see trends in my moods, track emotional triggers, and provide concrete proof of problems I'm having. I highly recommend it.
I like the grocery list and also being able to have the whole family edit the calendar. My only complaint was that one of the advertisers had an inappropriate ad(for something they sell) on there one day and I couldn't remove it. It was gone the next day but it was still something I didn't want to see. Otherwise, great free app.
I don't know that we could get along without Cozi. Having four kids, our lives are crazy busy. But when the kids come to tell me of a new event they need to attend or something we ran out of, I tell them "Cozi it." Then my phone will remind me at the right time. Also great for chore lists for each kid.
I love this app for organising our family - my husband and I can both see what's coming up. It makes it very easy to see your schedule when you're out of the house. The free version is great. I assume the paid version would be great too, but I'd never pay $30 per year for such a simple app.
I have been using this for over 5 years and my family would be in chaos and lost with out it. I love the schedule feature, makes sports and after school activities a breeze. I also love that I can import other calendars!
The app is very well organized and it does almost everything i want it to. One of the major problems it has is that it doesnt automatically sync my google calender everytime i update it. I like to write all of my schedule on my google calander and then have it shared with the fam but it does not share unles you resync your google calender everytime. If this is fixed i will change my rating to 5 stars.
I love this app. My husband and I were constantly setting conflicting appointments or forgetting appointments and events because when we would schedule something we would put it in our own calendar. With this we can both see the calendar and add events. You can also easily set who the event is for. (For example when you add Dr. Appointment, then you can relate to either of us or our son, so we know who the dr. Appointment is for.) The only downside is you can't view it in actual calendar view, unless you pay for it. I feel like a calendar view is such a basic thing for a calendar app, that it seems silly to make it a paid feature.
It works, but it's ugly, cluttered, and heavily focused on tacky sales, upgrades, and 'Cozi family' type stuff. I tried 3 or 4 organizers from one of those seemingly uninformed Lifehacker-esque sites, and ended up liking TickTick much better than all of them (which didn't appear on the list). I think it popped up on Google Play.
Conceptually sound execution is poor. I like that it syncs but that is it. Month view has limited view options. Can't assign 2ndary admins (if two parents calendar) Wish you could drag to select multiple days when scheduling an event. Also editing events requires precise touches. Not to mention app responds slow (Moto g4 plus). I use this (and paid a year sub) because my wife wanted to. Widget: yay widget doesn't scroll, wait that's not a good thing... Next year we'll just create a dummy Google account and all sign into it to have a community calendar.
It's a great app for family use however the one thing that still needs work is the ability to download recipes from the internet it, if the recipe has more than 5 ingredients it won't download and some sites it just doesn't seem to like at all. However overall I love it, my son now knows exactly what he needs to do for the day without bugging me or making assumptions every five minutes lol.
This app is amazing for family organization. Shared task lists and calendars make updates and planning so much easier. I couldn't give a 5 star rating because of the persistent cannot save changes error when modifying a list. I used to utilize the list functionality heavily, but it's nearly unusable like this. If this bug isn't fixed before my paid subscription renews, I won't be extending it.
This app has been so helpful with keeping my entire family organized. Love that you can access it from all the different devices! (Computer, tablet, cell phone) I have recommended cozi to several of my friends and they all love it too. If you're looking for a an app that not only keeps your schedule organized, but your entire families, birthdays, anniversaries, menus for the week, shopping lists, wish lists, honey do lists, etc; I highly recommend this app! I use it for just about everything.
Best family calendar app by far! This makes it so easy to keep everyone informed of everyone's schedules and any changes. The only 2 dings I can find are 1) there is no way to just update from my Google calendar without deleting my personal calendar from Cozi first and then reload my Google calendar again, and 2) it doesn't always completely load my Google calendar, so I have to compare the two calendars ahead of time to make sure my full schedule is on Cozi. Fix those and it's a 5 star app.
It helps to know my family is ok (we are about 1/2 the country apart)so I don't call when they are traveling. The problem is with the maps.
It used to be good. Lately, it's extremely laggy, doesn't switch lists and I always get an error Tha my changes aren't saved and that they are working on it. They are obviously not working on it as it's been like this since I installed it about a month ago.
This app is the only way my family stays coordinated. Have used this for years and out of the MANY systems I've tried.... it's the only one that ever stuck.
I love it!! it's easy to update, view, and it's great to use as a multi task tool. I love the fact that not everything has to be connected to the internet at all times for it to work. Plus teaming up with flylady was the best thing in the world to do!!! It has everything. Plus the fact it has shortened planning time on errands giving me hints as to what store has what.. nothing but raves!
This app is frustrating there are so many glitches even the paid version and the month calender takes forever to open not worth the extra $30 For the paid version. Don't buy until they start putting all this money to good use and update simple actions like home screen and monthly calendar layout is horrible they need to just do it month to month not cross it over with all the shadowing. It's hard on the eyes
Absolutely love this app. It is user friendly, easy to setup, immediately syncs with other family and has wonderful recipes! The fact that it has calender, in it as well would make it a one-stop shop. Love it. Makes it easy to split up the shopping list.
We LOVE this app. I am a type-A person who loves to have things scheduled and written down in one place, but even my laid-back husband uses this app. We use the lists function to keep and share a running grocery list, too.
I've been using this app for about 6 months, and the more I use it, the more I love it! You can figure out how to do just about anything you want to within the app. It has greatly simplified the communication of our family calendar, made making a grocery list and grocery shopping less burdensome, and allowed coordinating with others that need to see my schedule seamless. I've never used Google Calendar, but I was using the Apple calendar, and I find this app has more functionality and is easier to use. My favorite feature is probably being able to put a date on my To Do's and having them appear right on my calendar. One other thing I want to share is that I just changed phones from an iPhone 5s to a Moto 5g, and I find the Android app more robust and easier to use than the Apple version.
I have been using Cozi for several years now, and it really helps me stay sane. I've got three kids with a lot going on, and this really supports us keeping track of the fullness. Love that each person is color coded! It helps simplify the complexity of our schedules!
Best scheduler I've had yet. Kinda tough to input a regular repeating shift schedule. Or at least I have t figured it out yet
Nice app but both my sister and I have deleted stuff off of my mom's Christmas list by accident. :( It's pretty easy to accidentally swipe items away and there's no way to get it back.
Good for the free version. Only bad point is items in the shopping list are not automatically brought to the top of the list when they're needed.

I adore Cozi. It's a great way to keep my family connected regarding schedules, to do lists, etc. While I mostly use the computer for Cozi, I do defer to my phone when scheduling appts on the road. It works fine for that purpose, as well as editing shopping lists, adding Todo items, etc. I have the Cozi Gold, fyi. My only gripe is the lack of the "Meals" functionality in this app. It'll show what I've entered for meals for that day, but planning and recipes require you to go online. I'll keep it, though! Update: new meals feature is wonderful and I almost exclusively use the app instead of the computer.
