Cox Connect for Android
App is great! But just updated and now it says "error server unavailable try again later" I had just used this app before updating it and was logging in and using it just fine?????
It's okay. You'd think a company like cox could make a better application. Enjoy your internet, this app however is just average
Finger print auth stopped working. Tested on two different phones and it just acts like your finger never touched the sensor. Fingerprint auth working fine on other apps. And so glad Cox gives us a link to rip us off to buy more data on a wireline service.
Try to pay bill takes 4 to 6 mins to load if it loads. You think a way for the cox to make money would make this number one to fix. Nope let's piss people off is there way of thinking
Not a user friendly app. The process of paying a bill could be simplified. You shouldn't have to click 9 different things to pay a bill with a stored payment method. Layout is terrible. Straight trash
App is good for looking up your account balance. The phone tools is inconsistent. I try to use the phone forward and after a day it turn off. Pain full process when I travel. Cox support appologises and can't do anything.
Not sure what all the negative reviews are about. I was setting up my modem and it seems there was an outage in my area. Support chat was easy to use and I got fast and helpful assistance almost immediately. Might update if anything changes, but so far I'm satisfied!
When it works, it's great, but it's very inconsistent. I'm always having to call in for information I should be able to get from this app. The app overall is very buggy - and because this is an internet company, they should be able to maintain it better so I give it just barely 3 stars.
Very useless when youre just looking to find service status and it takes going thru the Contact Us to find troubleshooting tools because the Service Status on the Home Dashboard is EMPTY because there's an outage. But it's Cox. WORST ISP EVER!!
I can never trouble shoot from the app. It takes forever to load. Service sucks. Cox is always finding ways to up the bill. Really wouldn't recommend
Cannot get the app to work. Called and messaged 3 times and still no help. Not happy at all
Horrible. The IM / Message feature just blinks on and off. Checking internet status doesnt work, spins for 10+ minutes. If your phone screen shuts off or you open another app while its 'checking' it stops tjr whole process. The worst. Just like their service. Going back to Fios.
This app is slower than molasses going up hill in the winter time. The phone tools are ALWAYS delayed if they load at all!!!????

Keeps timing out. Frequently doesn't set recordings even though it says it did.
App was very easy to use. Customer service was very helpful and helped me solve my problem.
After having a 45 minute conversation, they told me I still had to call the sales department.. you think they could have it all in the app by now
App closes when in chat fixing Cox crappy internet
It's good for paying bills. The contact feature sometimes works. When it doesn't though have to call and wait on hold forever.
Messaging stopped working during support call
Hello, why can we no longer set up recording for shows? It doesn't detect I have a DVR?
I love being able to chat with customer support on the app, instead of having to call. Very easy and convenient!

Had a badge notification for months until I found out there was a "Welcome" chat message hidden away in the Contract Us and Message Us section. There was absolutely no indication there was a message waiting for me. Other than that, this app is only useful for looking at your ridiculous bill cost and your data caps. Data caps are a farce and money grab.
Cannot connect to my wifi settings which seems to be the SAME ISSUE in half the reviews before mine. So please don't ask me for details, and listen to your previous 30 odd complaints. Seriously. Reset my modem 4 times. Something tells me it's YOUR APP.
I have absolutely no use for an app that does not allow me to access my webmail. If I try to use the regular Cox website on my Android phone, there is no way for me to type anything in the message field of an email. So I tried the Cox Connect app and then there's no way to access web mail from there either. I contacted Cox through messaging and the response sent to me was a link that said Cox does not support Webmail for my device for any Android device. So you wasted all the money you spent on your app.
This app upgraded my original app. The original app kept track of my data usage on my internet. Which seems to have been a big deal with limitations placed on it's usage. I really don't use the phone, it's connected to a fax machine. No we're is there access to the internet data
Downloaded the app yesterday to begin keeping an eye on data usage. Firstly, the dates conflict. Usage cycle between 12th of x and 11th of y, but on a different page "usage period ends on 10th of y". Second, the data usage monitor is 2 days behind (which doesn't do me any good cuz on a data heavy day we can probably burn 40 or so gigs in my house...). And lastly, between connection issues, and issues populating info, this app seems like a bust.
I used the app to pay my bills and in December it said I owed nothing at the end of the month so I thought I had a already paid adjust forgot. A few weeks go by and my internet shuts off at 10 at night and when i call customer service it said I owed 196$! My bill is only 54$ and I always check to make sure I pay on time. The app stopped notifying me of payments and Im sure a lot of late fees stacked up. Really upset.
It pretty much does what I need it to do. Problem is when I check my Wi-Fi it just keeps spinning or sometimes says there is no connection although there is.
I will take every opportunity to trumpet how bad Cox Communications is. I pay too much to have data limits. I use this app to track my data so I can turn it off when I'm about to go over and it is days behind.
All I want this app for is the email but I can't figure it out. Useless.
Phone tools tab wont load. So I cant check missed call or voicemails its frustrating when i am paying for a services and cant use it
unable to pay bill on this. you seriously need to hire new app developers or a different company to re-create a new app and just delete this app rather than updating it which never fixes it. Horrible useless app.

The service status place cards don't make sense, unavailable or unknown is blue just like the service connected place cards. Should go back to being grayed out or be able to turn off a specific service status instead of all or nothing. Hope to see this option in the next update.
