Stocks Tape Widget for Android

Great widget. The only issue I have with it is that when you set display mode to Tickers only, it places a title (e.g. Dow Jones, or Watch List) along with the refresh time at the bottom of the widget. I wish there were a way to remove this. Otherwise, great widget. Can you clarify on the Play Store page the features added by upgrading to Pro? What does 20 free logs mean? I'll buy Pro if it adds additional features that I like.

Pressing the save button when doing the settings for the first time is not intuitive. It took me a few times to make the app work and show up on the screen. I kept pressing the back button to get out of the settings. Save should be automatic, or at the very end of the page in a different color. Other than that it is a 5 star app. Good job!

Forces you to buy after literally 15 minutes, horrible! Too much space between stocks. Can only add 5 stocks on the ticker.

It works. Has my stocks. Its kind of ugly though. Wish it was just one line of thin text taking up less space so my home screan doesnt look cluttered.

Installed the app. Went to add widget and immediately was taken to pay version. No opportunity to even try the app. Terrible...

Wish it had an option for slightly faster updating refresh... like 1 minute, but overall a great and simple app.... I'm just being picky. :-)

Good so far. But the tape speed sucks. Even "fast" is way too slow. Especially when you have 10 or 20 stocks! Needs to be faster! And why do I have to pick and index? You need to pick nasdaq or dow etc. and that will also be displayed at the beginning. I only want my stocks and not the index. Should be optional...

Does what you need it to do. Good range of customizations available. Wouldn't hurt if it could move a bit faster. The low and medium settings are of no use at all.

I love the way this works on my tablet. I just wish I could use a different color for my portfolio positions and the default for symbols I want to track, but do not yet own.

DON'T GET THIS AP. Locks up on my phone, had to uninstall. Morningstar, or Schwab much better and free support.

Streaming could be a little faster even on high its slow. Perhaps the meth I am on slows things down for me

No complaints yet. Easy scrolling..... Good contrast......I can slow things down after market close to conserve battery. If there are any improvements to be made, I have yet to find them.

I think this is the best stock monitor widget right now (July 2015). I tried other app but didn't not support international stock. Thank you for developing. There are only limited is 5 stocks run in demo app.

Consistently displays only one tick symbol and leaves all other stocks blank. Very unreliable and even after refreshing only shows one of many tick symbols.

Wish i could have multiples of this widget up. Only one at a time, if you have muliples they all display the same thing.

The only thing I woild add is an audio tone when there is a change in price.

don't waste your money. Does not work well with other APPS, Crashes, The free one works just the same. keep your money and phone space.

I'm an everyday fast trader. Honestly this app is kinda cool in a very simple version. My least favorite about this app is the font design of the running symbols. But it's just that, you know....

Wish i had the option to enter positions to track daily gains in realtime. Shouldnt have to pay as there are other free widgets that do.

Stops working and have to reset and enter my stocks info every day. Now it says my trial has expired and wants my money! Make it work right and then we'll see...

I love being able to quickly see how my stock picks are performing. Its easy to configre, customizable, it's free and I haven't seen anything similar on Google play. I was so impressed with this widget i downloaded all the other stock wave apps. Thank you for creating this widget!!!!

App works great... for a few days at a time. Then it crashes and you have to start all over. Sometimes 3 or 4 times before it'll work again.. but only for a few more days. 5 * if you get this fixed! *********** Update: made it 2 days this time! Usually it's 3-4 days before crashing. Fyi the ghetto refresh button when it crashes doesn't work. You have to remove it then add it back from the widget menu. Dropped my rating to one star and lookin for replacement.

The problems here are mainly bugs. If you choose your own list of symbols, an index is prepended for every ticker run. The list cannot be sorted, so you have to start over to change the order. The band jumps randomly between runs, resets after an update, and after a while you end up with a completely empty list requiring you to reload the widget to get it back to life. Smallest update interval is 2 mins, and you cannot change font sizes.

Its a good app. Tape speed needs to be faster by at least 1 or even 2 more levels. Not all indexes were there. It didnt have xjo for australian stock exchange. However you can choose any stock you want, so that kind of fixes that. Overall a well developed app.

Trial expired even though I just installed it and its the first time ever installing. Lots of other free stock widgets that don't expire or just generally fail.

Highly interactive, customizable and to the point. Perfect for when I just have a quick minute to check my portfolio.

App was just what I was looking for, stock widget so I don't have to open apps to check stocks, because its right there on my home screen. :D

It helps a lot with my stocks game and can't wait to invest later in life Ty so much.

It's the perfect visual stock update I have been looking for. However, much needed improvement from hanging and crashing.

Makes you feel cool. "What are you doing?" "Just checking out the market. The DOW is down 1000 points, so there's some good deals." Hehehehe.

I like the current features & having updates is great, but it only shows 11 tickers & just starts the 12th before jumping to the beginning - I currently want to watch 15 and that number will grow. Also, i would like to be able to have the tickers display in the order I choose so I get my most important updates first. When those two features are fixed I will give 5 stars.

It doesn't have the All Ords or the ASX. can't get all the top 50 companies on one ticker .

So far so good. Simple.but useful. Not sure If there is an option to see the tickers on the lock screen would be good. Faster scrolling would be good also. Fast needs to be faster.

It seems to have a nasty trailing space at the end of the stock listings, which means it simply turns black and or doesn't display any data for as long if not longer than what it is displaying. Quite annoying really. Would really like to see it do a constant repeat instead of have that trailing blank space at the end of the listings. Would also (unlike others) like to see a *very slow* option to run it at an even slower speed than the current slow. It also has a tendency to stop working every now and then, especially if I try to manually refresh/update the info using the refresh icon/button after clicking it. I'll give it a 3 out of 5 just because it seems to work at least half the time without crashing.

The ticker on my tablet moves much faster than my phone. Wish it would move faster. Anytime move or remove the widget I have to reset everything from speed to what stocks I want to keep eye on. It's gets really annoying. Other than that very good app.
