Dropped Quicken after years of frustration. After researching various replacements, I chose Countabout. Very happy with app and entire product.

Made the switch from Quicken, which was so slow and beastly. CountAbout is remarkably fast and accurate. My only complaint about the app is that it doesn't have Tag support. Customer support has been fantastic in my transition from Quicken, which actually took more than one try. I don't recommend importing anything from Quicken if you can avoid it.

CountAbout is EXACTLY what I needed...a simple, clean program to track my accounts and be able to manually enter transactions. I've tried Mint and a few others but I love CA. Support is very responsive as well. Looking forward to seeing this app and website grow!

This absolutely the best personal finance program out there. I have been looking for a replacement to Quicken and this is it! No flaws. Easy sync with all your accounts. Great reports! Works well across multiple devices.

Works well when it works. Sometimes it stops working, usually when I click on one specific credit card account. And when I do get into that same account, I notice it duplicates every entry SEVEN times. My other accounts work fine though. Can't figure out why.

NO REFUND POLICY even though the website and app did not work with my local bank or other some of my other financial institutions.

I've been running CA in parallel with Quicken for all of 2016 and will continue to do so until year-end. I already have enough confidence and liking for CA that I could turn Q off now; however I will wait until year-end to complete the history. I wanted an app I could use in both my browser and on both our (wife and I) smartphones and CA fits the bill perfectly. There were a few rough spots when I started with CA but the developers have been very proactive in tweaking needed improvements and reliability. One feature not found in most apps, which is a must for me, is the ability to customize the categories. Another is the ability to mix debits and credits (+ and -) in the same transaction. Also recurring transactions have to work smoothly because I use them heavily. All of these work well in CA. Automatic downloading of banking and credit card transactions (a nominal annual subscription) works smoothly. I have weaned myself from the need to maintain investment detail which CA does not do; although CA will link to investment accounts and maintain investment account balances. I find that my brokerage statements provide whatever detail I need.

CountAbout web is super. Android app however crashes often.

Love the app itself and the Android client - simple to use and track spending and all in all a great alternative to Mint. Great job guys!

Such a great alternative to quicken. It doesn't crash. It's simple. Really glad to have made the switch.

Great Quicken alternative

When you are ready to switch from the expensive and slow Quicken and from the buggy Mint, this is the best replacement!

Will definitely give Mint and Quicken a run for their money. A true replacement one can access from any computer with Internet access.

Started off ok then began to close when displaying accounts with many transactions. Now it crashes immediately. If the issue was resolved it would be excellent. Deleted and reinstalled - works once or twice and then starts crashing again.

There's finally an alternative to Quicken!!! 'Nuff said!

For me this is a real alternative to Quicken. A clean, simple cloud based financial management system. This is the mobile app for use with the very elegant web interface. Does everything for me.

I finally found a great replacement for Quicken! CountAbout is entirely cloud based. So you can access it from whatever OS you happen to be using. And the mobile app isn't hamstrung like Quicken's. No looking back for me, this is a great app and a great service!
