Shoebox - Photo Backup Cloud

Only use if you want to lose your photos! The app apparently doesn't back photos up if they automatically save to the SD card so when my phone was stolen, I lost everything!!! I contacted support and you could tell that they read my message asking for help without any real concern because they answered a question I didn't even ask and completely avoided what I actually asked!

Shoebox is absolutely great! I had a terebite full of photos from many years sadly didn't know about shoebox at the time. Terebite crapped out and I lost all my photos. Got recommend to get shoebox and it's great! Just wish it had an albums option. May do but don't think it does. Definitely works in backing up my photos from all devices never a let down. Thank you Shoebox! !

App keeps freezing in background slowing down my phone until I force stop it. Also when I try to add my sd card folder to backup those pics, it endlessly says updating....(in the sync settings)..And never does anything. I can't save my sd card pics like it says it's supposed to do! Please make it easier and auto add my sd card contents. Tried unistalling and reinstalling and never works. If you add a folder to sync, it never actually adds it. Never had any problems with this app until recently.

Unfortunately I've broken 4 phones but never lost my pics. Last year my mom passed and a few months later I broke my other phone that had all her videos and pics on it. Then I got my other phone and downloaded shoebox and I smiled when I saw my mom's face again. Shoebox you rock!!!

Shoebox really delivers value for people owning a smartphone and taking a lot of pictures. It allows the best possible backup solution for pictures from smartphones. In addition the daily overviews from the past are really nice! For people with kids, you can see them grow :)

Just when you thought you lost all media files , THIS APP HAS ALL BACKED UP!!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! PHONE CRASHED A FEW TIMES . I HAD TO RESET IT WITH NOT WORRYING ABOUT LOSING ANY PICTURES

Everything is perfect, except that the Pro version only accessible by submitting your credit card directly. For whom using Google Play billing system such as I am, can't taste the goodness of the Pro account. So sad. 4 stars it is then.

It worked better for me personally than Dropbox bc they limit u on how many photos u can have, but with Shoebox it's unlimited. Only thing I'm wondering is are they like all the others that say u have a 2 week trial, here's all ur pictures now pay or u can't have them.

The name alone takes me back. I have shoe boxes full of pictures. And someone had the best idea when they created this app. Indexing by year, device, season and not to mention the amount it holds. Plus freed up a lot of space on my phone. trying to purchase the whole package but having trouble with MY debit card because they're a Canadian company but going to get it taken care of.

It saves your photos as soon as you take them. They're safe. The only thing I don't like is how it tries to remind of you of past memories even if you tell it you don't want to see your memories, but I can get passed that. Great app.

I wish you could choose what got backed up. I'm tired of deleting random pictures from shoebox. I also wish that you didn't have to hit "timeline" in order for your pictures to be in order. It's a good app, but there are some annoyances.

My tablet has been pretty stupid. It had told me I had no more storage space when I didn't have that much apps. So glad I had this app and erased all my pic but still having them in this app. So far the best app I have ever used .

Ive broken a lot of phones (android) and ive always had this app. All my pictures sync as soon as i take them so sometimes im upset because i thibk i lost a pic. nope ! its there ! love it !!

Can't get enough of this! It's a fab reminder of memories! Sends you emails to remind you of that day however many years ago if you took photos that day. Such a fantastic app. Can't fault it at all and love all the the memories that come flooding back to me by email! Thank you shoe box! Xx

If you are a person who doesn't have much space on your phone but love taking pics this is the app for you. And it doesn't take up much space either. If you dont have this app what are you doing with your life? DOWNLOAD IT!!!!!! I 100% SUPPORT THIS AMAZING APP........and its hard to get me to say that!

I lost so many pics that we're special to me either on a fried hard drive or in the Icloud. I could never figure out how to access the icloud. I found this app and it's been a life saver. I have recommended it to several of my friends.

Love it... however, I realised, the syncing or auto save, does not quite save 100% of the images I hv on my phone. Sometimes, I hv to login a few times to hv them all saved up. Pls help. Thanks.

I have absolutely no reason to complain. Free, unlimited storage? Takes the hassle out of organizing pics I don't really want to regularly view, but don't want to delete, either. Wait... that makes me a cyber-packrat.

I can't remember the email address I used to make my account .. I was wondering if there was any way I could see what email address I used? Or something please all my babies pictures are on here . My phone was stolen from me and I don't have any pictures of them .

I advise anyone that comes across to jump in head first, Yes it's free but the $69.99 a year is a great plan for the photographers in the world. All your video recordings and pictures are safe and secure in Shoebox.

I've had shoebox for years and I'm obsessed with it. I lost so many pictures until I got a shoebox. I have it on all my devices so ill never loose another picture!

Hard to manage images stored, some simply are not needed, syncing videos? No needed. Interface more aimed at getting you to sign up, not manage the content.

Very easy to use. I have over 3,000 photos and videos backed up to shoebox and I've never had a problem going back to search for them. This is the only all I've ever rated a five star.

Recently my laptop's hard drive died and I lost hundreds of photos from many years ago. Luckily for me; Shoebox backed up the same photos off of my phone and I was able to retrieve them and share them once again!

What I like about this app is how easy it is to save your pictures. No need to open an app in your pc and doing the tedious drag-and-drop; it's easy as listing the albums you want this app to synch and voila! All your pics are saved!

Great app! It couldn't load a couple videos but I was super appreciative when I accidentally wiped my gallery and found all my pictures in my account still just too bad you have to pay for extra storage

Haven't had any problems with this app! It's great! Only complain is I wish there was a bit more organization to the photo storage. Or maybe some options to pick how you want to view your photos.

Allows me peace of mind knowing my photos will still be there. Wish I'd known about shoebox before my phone got stolen and I lost all my babies pictures. Love all the daily reminders of when my children were small.

Good way to backup photos on camera however the most annoying thing is that I cannot pause the backup. Sometimes after coming home to WiFi and having accumulated a number of photos on the phone, it makes it impossible to use the internet because of this app.

V gud app for photo backup. But it only saves photos from camera n not the photos that come thru watsapp automatically. Please add these features then its a 5 star app. Thanks team shoebox

Free photo (not video) storage is great. Lack of editing (even picture rotation!!!!!!!!!!) is not. Android app: No fast scroll, some YEARS missing this may be the Windows Uploader issue. Windows uploader: doesn't preserve "albums" like flickr or have a tray icon, lot less informative in general, doesn't upload all photos (identifies some local photos as being taken in USA, so location seems screwed). No face detection. All in all Google Photos is much better and takes care of your videos also.

I don't like that you can only download one photo a time. I would like to be able to select all. Also, the original name of the image gets lost, which makes it hard to quickly find the image that you want.

Shoebox is a wonderful app!! Not only does it store my photo's, but it brings them up at different times to show you your memories from a year ago, up to 3 yrs ago (for me since I've had it that long) I recommended this app to ALL my family and friends! It's free, and has more than enough free storage space!!!

I love how the app shows pics from years ago, really keeps them alive. I've not been using for long but so far so very good!

5 stars are not enough so I added 5... That's better! Had this STAR STUDDED app a few years now and so happy with it. I don't want to think about the memories I would have lost without it. And it tells me how good I'm looking! Who doesn't like hearing that!

Every time i need to open this app to start syncing my photos.and it will stop syncing when i close app.. simply, syncing not working in background.. contacted support team..but no response..very disappointed

This is an amazing app.. It reminds me what i took a year aog and memories are wonderful.. It saves up room in ny phone (which has no memory space) I love this app

Good way to store my pictures. I had problems but didn't lose my pictures because I had them in shoebox. Just got a new computer and got my photos back from shoebox. Thank god I have thousands of photos

Would have given a 5, but wish you didn't take pictures from everywhere, not easy to catch ones you don't want copies of and a pain to have to delete them, i.e. photos of mail on Paper karma.
