Caminos de El Rocío

Caminos del Rocío es una aplicación que pretende fomentar el turismo de peregrinación hacia El Rocío, más allá de la internacionalmente conocida Romería del Rocío, que tiene lugar cada año y que congrega a miles de romeros en torno a la Blanca Paloma. Fomentar y dar a conocer la Historia y Tradición que rodean a la Romería, así como el resto de celebraciones que tienen lugar a lo largo del año, es potenciar un valor cultural y patrimonial del municipio de Almonte, capaz de atraer a miles de visitantes al año.

Además de las secciones de información, se incluyen los caminos recomendados para realizar la peregrinación, con mapas interactivos y sus hitos más relevantes. También se incluye el Pasaporte Digital del Peregrino, que le permitirá sellar su paso por los puntos destacados del Camino, obteniendo como recompensa un fragmento de la imagen que al finalizar el recorrido completará un azulejo de la Blanca Paloma.

También se han desarrollado dos juegos interactivos de preguntas y respuestas para poner a prueba los conocimientos rocieros. En el primero de ellos deberás recorrer tu camino respondiendo 29 preguntas de cuatro temas diferentes: “Entorno del Rocío”, “Hermandades”, “Historia y Religión” y “Literatura, Arte y Folklore”. Cada vez que completes el camino se activará una medalla. Juega hasta obtener las cuatro y convertirte en un experto rociero.

Por último, la aplicación incluye un directorio de empresas que da respuesta sobre el terreno a las preguntas más habituales de los turistas: dónde comer, dónde dormir, qué comprar o dónde informarse, así como otros servicios turísticos de interés (farmacias, centros de salud, transporte, etc.).

Esta aplicación se desarrolla en el marco del Proyecto “Almonte, Smart Destination”, uno de cuyos objetivos fundamentales es conseguir desestacionalizar la peregrinación a través de los Caminos del Rocío, de forma que pueda ser entendido como una ventana de oportunidad para el tejido económico y social tanto de Almonte como de su zona de influencia. Se trata de un Proyecto promovido por el Ayuntamiento de Almonte y la EOI, y cofinanciado con Fondos FEDER. We have also developed two interactive quizzes and answers to test the rocieros knowledge. Finally, the application includes a business directory that gives field response to common tourist questions: where to eat, where to stay, what to buy or where to learn, as well as other tourist services of interest (pharmacies, health centers , transportation, etc.).
 
This application is developed in the framework of the "Almonte, Smart Destination", one of the main objectives is to seasonally adjusted pilgrimage through the Caminos del Rocío, so that it can be treated as a window of opportunity for economic fabric and both social Almonte and its hinterland. It is an event promoted by the City of Almonte and EOI, and co-financed by ERDF Project.
