Corsage A Procession of Dreams

Emerging out of Vancouver during the post-punk era, the musical collective Corsage features the core group of Phil Smith (vocals), Bill Napier-Hemy (guitar), Ron Allan (bass) and John Cody (drums). Over seven albums, various film/book projects, and numerous live performances and TV / radio sessions, they have collaborated with a host of Vancouver's finest musical and artistic talents on songs that run from beat trance to hard pop and techno folk.

Their latest album A Procession of Dreams was released in November 2014. Featuring the core group listed above, as well as vocalist Belinda Bruce and violinist Meredith Bates, the album was one of the last projects recorded at the legendary Hipposonic (formerly Mushroom) Studios before its recent closure.

Songs include the psychedelic ascension of “From Earth to Heaven with a Smile”, the torch trance of “It All Slips Away” and the country-folk bop of “Life Goes On (Without You)”.

A Procession of Dreams was mixed by Ron Obvious and the CD art and cover design is by Sally Dige Jørgensen.

A video for “It All Slips Away” is now posted at the YouTube site listed below; a Vancouver release party/ performance is planned for late Spring 2015.
