Hampden Cabs and Private Hire

I did love this app, extremely handy and useful. In the last couple months every so often a booking cones up as 'unresolved' and I have been told I need to uninstall and reinstall, this does fix the issue (until it happens again) but I lose all my favourites which is inconvenient.

The app is amazing. While the UI is simple and minimalistic, it has everything you need from a car booking app. The company is also, in my opinion, the best taxi company in Glasgow.

Had not let me down yet. Plus you can get an email showing your route after the journey had been completed.

Hampden never gives you a response. Quote doesn't work properly either "at least £0.50" every time.

App sometimes doesn't work but apart from that very reliable.

too long to wait for a cab each time, there is no estimates like there is using UBER APP! Plus, the cabs are rude and idiots!

Rapid taxis nae bawhair

Was lovely to only just find a voicemail from 16th August where the taxi driver called me a f***ing a***hole, told me I was barred and to come out and face him because I wasn't at the adddress he was waiting at. I'd accidentally hit the wrong street number when I booked on the app and phoned the control room straightaway to fix. Instead they then sent 2 taxis to the same wrong address. Thankfully the guy who turned up (3rd time lucky) was fine, not the clown asking for a customer to come out and face him.

Really good and easy to use however at peak times it is unbelievable that there are no taxi's in the area using the system that the app uses and still no pickup within an hour. Suspect it gets switched off and manual allocation by main control is used. GET IT SORTED.

Again left in the cold waiting. The app is a load of rubbish I have no time for them seriously don't waste your time or life on them.

Waited till 25 minutes had past, then phoned and they claimed they'd sent it to the car park but I'd specifically stated NOT the car park. After hung up, received a text 5 minutes later saying it was on its way!

Booked cab easily for six hours time. No contact till taxi nearly half an hour late. No answer to the phone. Had made other arrangements. Won't use again

Excellent to book cabs on the go. Good tracking too.

Easy to use and you get a text the same as making a call on your mobile. Safe for female passengers.

Great app only improvement I could suggest is a warning when booking of long wait times the way they would if you called.
