This app is handy, I've used it several times now. Don't always get a call when taxi approaching though. Also can you add an option to pay by card, I have to write extra notes for driver to pass this info on.

Used to work perfectly on my phone, but not since the update. It keeps searching for the GPS address, despite me choosing from my 'Favourites'.

Always gives a connection error now so totally useless

Great app allowing payment by card and emailing of receipts making it very easy for work. Very reliable and efficient service.

This app is quick and fast and before you knew it, city cabs will be st your door, great service with a banter with the driver, well recommended to have as there reliable and best taxi firm in edinburgh

No longer working. Booking agent not acknowledging issue. Will user other cab company with app that works.

Buggy map user interface sends taxi to the wrong place. The location is taken from the centre of the location pin rather than the bottom of the pin like it should be. This means if you put the pin on your current location (or the street outside where you want to be picked up) the app will instead call a taxi to a location a street or two further North! (You can see that if you zoom out and press the compass icon, the pin covers your actual location and the point of the pin is in the wrong place). After calling for the taxi there's no way to edit the location to fix this problem (though it does provide a link to call the taxi dispatcher directly). It's not even clear whether the taxi drivers get your precise GPS location, or whether they just get the closest street address based on where the app thinks you are? Either way it's not really acceptable to send drivers to the wrong location, and other hailing apps don't have this problem.

Not working now. Real shame as it is really handy app that I use all the time. Hopefully you can sort the connection error I now get. Have uninstalled and reinstalled but get same result. Will go back to 5 stars once problem rectified.

Used to work well, but now shows the secure connection error if I try to pay with credit card. Cash booking still works, but it takes away much of the convenience of using it to book, pay and get an e-receipt. Hopefully it'll be fixed soon.

Worked excellent but last update won't let me log in!

Used to use City Cabs all the time for work - paying using card in the app was great as receipts are emailed. As others noted already the most recent Android upgrade has broken the secure connection rendering the app useless to me, which is a real shame. Update 18/05/2017 - City Cabs app still broken for in-app card payments - however, have switched to Central Taxis which uses the same base app (cordic), and it works perfectly. Shame, City Cabs lose out due to abject lack of customer engagement to fix the problem.

We'll never use this company again, booked a taxi to and from a restaurant in Queensferry for my parents in their 70s 7 hours in advance. Dropped us off on time but tag me when the return taxi was past due to say they couldn't send us a taxi. They only had 7 hours to arrange one, left two septaganareans stranded and plenty of excuses but no taxi. Used to use this firm for all my airport runs - never again

Useless can't login can't register...

Works great, use it regularly.

New version won't let me in. Tells me to login using my email address, which it doesn't recognise, but if I try to register it asks for my phone number too, and then tells me it's already registered. Catch 22. Bad design.

Had some initial problems with the registration process but now working OK.

It used to work. Now on my new pixel it always shows connection error. Don't know if it is due to android version. I really like you guys and don't want to use uber. Please don't force me.

I use this app whenever I need a taxi. Especially useful during busy times in Edinburgh eg the Festival and rugby international weekends and no price surging either.

I use this app all the time and it's great, so easy. Citycabs easily the best taxi company in Edinburgh

But I would love to keep the driver notes when using,"book again"

Love this app. So easy to use especially if you save frequently used locations. Saves having to rely on call being answered and heard over busy traffic etc. Taxi always on time and drivers always friendly and helpful.

Saves you waiting in a queue outside. Saves you having to call up. Saves you having to pay in cash

Pathetic, booked taxi, one was assigned, 30 mins later he still can't find me despite GPS map location. Gave up and walked, amazingly Central Taxis office ON THE SAME STREET. Couldn't find their a*** with both hands.

Amazing app. Taxi always quick and having the app makes my life a lot easier!
