Had this app since last year. Emergency notifications come after emergency has passed. Alert portion of dashboard quits working every time it's selected (even when known alerts are out there). Can be used for basic prep, but that's all.

The idea is great, but the app is half baked at the moment. Lots of stuff simply doesn't work like it won't save photos for me or even send the text messages that I am safe. I just get an error message without any specifics. It's nice that you can store info in it for emergencies, but most of this type of info you may already have in your phone like contacts. Good for helping you to create an emergency kit, but you cannot add your own things to the list which would be helpful. It excels in educating you with information on specific threats, where to find shelter centers and your local resources contact info. It also shows VDEMs Tweets which is nice if you don't use Twitter so you can at least see emergency news from the agency. As for the overall design, it's a bit poor with buttons being very small on high resolutions screens. There doesn't seem to be any dynamic sizing and no zooming in on any text screens. The Android back button works properly sometimes and exits the program other times. I would like to see it adopt some Material Design layout and better dynamic sizing.

Spend a bunch of time inputting info. Now I can't figure out how to export a hardcopy of all the filled out info to print or how to share with another user so we don't have to input all the same info again. Great idea for an app but needs improvements!

This is one stupid app. The local contacts page is unreadable, the font is so small and you can't zoom in! Did that ever occur to any of geniuses who made this alleged MOBILE app? That's government for you, just like the Obamacare website debacle. Leave it to the experts, government people are all idiots.

Some parts are great....lists, resources, etc. What's concerning is the emergency notification. Even with a hurricane off the coast and my weather app and emails going nuts with alerts....not a peep out of this thing. It just sits and spins like it's trying to refresh. No past alerts, nothing. UNINSTALLED. I CAN GO TO THE WEB SITE FOR ALL THIS APP IS WORTH.

Click on items or info and just get a white screen, crashes, etc

Any time keyboard is opened on Samsung Galaxy S5 app crashes. Additionally, many of the links and functions in the app don't work. (List of things to pack, select county, etc)

App freezes everytime I try to type in a text box (like when adding contacts, phone numbers, info etc.) Makes the whole thing pretty useless. Also won't open the supply kit list.

The only thing that works on this app is checking off items on the emergency kit list (and it would be nice to add my own items as well). Everything else is super glitchy and freezes my phone every single time. It also tells me there are no announcements for my area, which is funny because the news has only been talking about Joaquin tonight, soooo...I'd figure this would be one of those announcements this app would like us to be notified of

Tried to add contact information. App keeps deleting fields I enter before I can save them. Why doesn't the app access my contacts so I can select the data directly?

On my Android SG5, the app becomes completely unresponsive the moment either the Samsung or Swype keyboard is opened. The instant I tap into a text field, the app starts jumping on the screen, it just wigs out. I can close the app but the keyboard is stuck on the screen for several seconds until it finally crashes too. This makes it impossible to complete the emergency plan and makes the app virtually useless.

Please finish this app so it will work properly! The app will not allow you to add contacts at least on my Samsung Galaxy S 5, it crashes every time I try.

Crashes ever time I try to open it on my Galaxy S6. Something must have happened with an update that was released. Please fix it asap this was a good app with lots of info in case of an emergency.

Doesn't allow entries on my Galaxy Note 3 w/ Android 5.0.

Freezes and won't let me do anything in the app. My tax dollars have clearly gone to good use.

Love the new design! Very clean and organized.

Absolutely love this app. Especially because I have a child with special needs and I can put all his doctor and medicines on this. And because we have a service dog. I highly recommend this app

Within one hour of installing this app, it sucked 4.3 gb of data from my plan. 4 gigabytes??? Really??? This sent me way over my data limit and lead to some annoying account support calls. This app obviously is bugged, besides the fact that it's painfully slow. If you value your data plan please do not download this!

This is an awesome app with so much great infomation all in one place. I would highly recommend it for all Virginia residents, however, I continue to get 'Runtime Error'and I have to select 'continue' over and over. Also the latest tweet is never retrieved. If those 2 bugs were fixed this app would be perfect. Thank you. ***update9/25/2013** I think the latest update fixed the previouly mentioned errors however now the app is noticeably slow and my data didn't transfer over after update. Thank you***

been tracking data usage since I've seen some people having problems. everything is fine, app is handy and informative with local information available and preparation checklists. Unsure how people don't know to report problems to the developer by now...

I installed the app today, and started getting usage warnings from Verizon within an hour or so. Finally realized it was from this app and deleted it. Before I did, it had used almost a gig of data!

The information under the contacts tab is way too small, and is not zoom-able. Please make it larger or make it so we can zoom in to actually read the information.
