Update: MY SCENES HAVE STOPPED WORKING!?!?! Love the theory of this if only it was working!! theres a feature which I would LLLLLOVE to see which is a timer option in the scenes! I.e. I'd like to be able to have the fan in my toilet starting 1 minute after lights are switched on, PLUS turn it back off x minutes after I turned lightd back off. THAT WOULD BE AWESOME ! Let me know if anything like this is on the cards PLEASE!

When they work, they are great but all devices drop connection frequently then you have to reconnect each application one by one. This just makes you think, shall I just turn the item on the old fashioned way, it's quicker. This morning I am unable to reconnect any devices?? The idea is great but it ends up making your life harder having to constantly reconfigure all the time.

Sonoff wall switches used to work great. Since Xmas, they are fast brinking indicating remote sever issues (ewelink). Wifi control becomes useless, the reason why I bought these devices to start with. You can't expect to sell anymore hardware if control software is not fix. Customers voices spread fast. FIX YOUR ISSUES.

I have a couple of Sonoff smart plugs that require me to use this app. My plugs constantly don't work because they say there is a server problem. As I'm writing this review the plugs seen to work with the app but not with Alexa or Google Home. This app is very unreliable and I would avoid any other hardware that uses it.

Scenes no longer work. You cannot add, edit or remove scenes. Still getting issues with Sonoff devices talking to the server and so are not WiFi operational! Full WiFi signal but devices are so unreliable. Do the servers have the capacity for all worldwide traffic? Maybe distributed servers is the answer if not.

Worked for a couple of days very well and was pleased but then frequent loss of Wifi connection (double blink of light) and operation failed when operating Sonoff wireless switches. Unreliable - this happens daily. So going to flash different firmware and control from Openhab2 so there is no connection to the cloud server in China. But this will not have google home integration (yet).

Terrible app which renders decent enough hardware useless. Not had any problems with any other WiFi plugs, only the two that use this app. Can't even log in to my account now. Will give it another 24 hours and if they still don't work I'll be returning them.

The connection went offline after 2 days and haven't been able to recover since then. Something to do with cloud server. I rather go with Mqtt using Sonoff-Tasmota firmware. You can find more details on Github. There are tons of useful MQTT clients though you need to setup an Mqtt broker. I already have got one running. Alternarively you van use a web client.

Oh dear, poor you if you have bought a sonoff device which requires this app. You will soon discover that the back end cloud service which sonoff devices are 100% reliant on to operate, will go down daily and you will wonder why all your little green lights are flashing. Do yourself a favour, return the sonoff device and don't install this app. You will save yourself no end of hassle.

Registration failed for hours with message "Unable to send email". Most of the time the app can't connect to the server it depends on which means the switches often don't work. Typical Chinese lack of quality control, thought, and testing for both the app and the product.

The sonoff hardware is wonderful but this app is one of the worst services I have ever used. In the past weeks, the servers have been down more time than up... Get your act together or outsource your app to a reputable developer who can keep it working for more than a couple of hours per day. What a shame...

++Inexpensive devices. ++Snappy response from app. ++Alexa/Google integration. ++Good scope for IOT/automation. --Periodically logging user out is unnecessary and obstructive. Please stop it, it's really annoying. --Control commands depend on connection to ITEAD servers. No local control. --Servers periodically go down for extended periods resulting in devices going offline and TOTAL LOSS OF RESPONSE/CONTROL. This has to be addressed as a matter of urgency.

Sonoff, yet another chinese waste sold as high tech. The server service provided for App is a joke. The cloud service stops working anytime, for days, making all Sonoff devices useless, or even garbage, when it will stop forever.

Scenes don't work. Connection to server goes down for hours at a time every day. Not good enough at all. What's the point of home automation that only works occasionally?!

Devices keep getting disconnected. After a firmware update now I can't control my devices using Alexa. This is a bummer. Not a uniform connected experience. Would advise against sonoff products now.

I have 2 smart plugs. The 1st one was set up with no issues. The 2nd won't set up, instead giving me the error "currently 5ghz WiFi not supported"... Well this is useless to me!

Although it works, I don't understand why I had to change my router to 2.4ghz. Are there any plans for ewelink to have 5ghz capabilities?

was working fine for a couple of months. new app update and now the app won't connect to my WiFi even though it is dual band 2.4 + 5 ghz. I keep getting "currently 5 ghz network is not supported" I am very disappointed

Please add more devices like cameras etc. And Please make the API public or at leats make it compatible with smartthings homeeasy harmony etc. For now 3stars if you add those features will be 5. For now again 1 star because everything has stopped working

1. Every time the password expires, your software changes my location from Thailand to Guernsey. Why? 2. Every time the password expires, all devices (4ch pro, basic & POW) are unavailable and then fail to connect. Why? 3.I fail to see how forcing password resets improves security seeing that the account is linked to my mobile number. Great hardware that is let down by very poor software.

Sorry guys, but I have to say that my wall switches are working very well for a months and I'm very satisfied with the hw and sw. From time to time there are some downtime issues with server, but recovery is automatically done if you leave the devices to recover themselves. I'm very satisfied with design and will give 4 stars just because of downtime issues, but everything is really great. Sorry to hear that lot of people have problems..

When it works it's fantastic but recently none of the apps features work. Switch stayed on long after it should have turned off, luckily I was home to notice this. Fix the reliability of the app and I would give 5 stars.

Was great initially. But after a fairly short while, all the Sonoff devices, either repeatedly go offline, or stop working altogether! I've tried contacting both the hardware & software vendors. But neither respond. I would save your money & go elsewhere, for the WiFi hardware...

When the servers aren't down the app connected to my plugs and Alexa works great. The problem is that the company's servers seem to be regularly unresponsive for hours at a time. Get this sorted and and the review would be 4/5 star.

Ugly design. Pls change it to the material design standard. OMG cannot update, cannot turn lights on... add immediately local option to control!!!

It's nice that it works through Google home and Alexa services but I need it to work through a hub so I can use other devices to control these devices. It needs to work through the SmartThings Hub! Until I can do that it's almost useless except for verbally turning things on and off but not much help as a home automation product because of that.

Wording is a little bit off, but this thing works great. It was a little hard to connect to because of the new settings in nougat and Oreo on Android. It doesn't want to stay connected to a device with no internet connection. So I used an old phone to set it up.

App has stopped working today "check network" message kept showing , deleted app reinstalled it let me log in once showing no devices and now back to same message hope this is resolved quickly

I don't know what happened but since 2 weeks ago the devices keep loosing connection with the server and are unusable 80% of the time. Shame it was a good service.

Worked fine until they decided to turn off their server. Now I have 18 lights that I cannot turn on/off. Going back to TP-Link, at least tp-link works offline as long as you're in the same network.

Had to replace the 7 (count them, 7) plugs that use this app through Alexa. Ever tried balancing plates in a circus? Get one working, another shuts down. Get them all working, don't blink, it won't last. Not responding, network down, hub (?) not working, Alexa says OK to request, but the blasted things are off when they should be on and vice versa. Enough. All in the bin and I am about to uninstall the app and I never want to hear a single word about eWeLink for the rest of my life. Be gone.

Frustrating, annoying, and difficult to use due to lazy programming. Similar apps are much better.

I wish you exciting to add: 1. an alarm when the temperature reach selected value and 2. time/temperature graphs for sonoff ths. 3. make history at least 100 positions. Your app is good it all,but as for me, has a lack of useful features. good luck to your team!

servers constantly offline. ifttt support now broken too. give is a local server option please

One of the worst and terrible piece of application is this.Totally unreliable,and buggy as Hell!I don t know any similar bad application on the home automation market.Just headache. Unreliable!

I have to re-enter password every time I use software and it changes my country to Guernsey! Why? Response time is also very slow some times! Is this inadequate server capacity or the Great Firewall of China slowing everything down?

Come on Sonoff, Sort your servers out. Not been about to register devices all day. I think I'll flash tasmota firmware on the devices and set up my own mqtt server so I'm not affected by sonoff server downtime

Drains the battery - why is it active in the background in the first place? Crashes from time to time

Absolute rubbish. Fails daily and renders the (expensive) light switch useless. Constantly, and I mean every day, have to reload the app and go through the registration process. Do yourself a favour and buy switches that do not use this app. So frustrating you would not believe.
