why do we have to wait to be approved before using it?

Why are people asking for a refund I have this app andd didn't pay ? What am I missing ???

I love it

This works perfectly with my Garmin Speak and I no longer even look at my phone while driving. Phone calls work flawlessly over my car stereo, as does everything else. My only minor gripe is saying "ask Mastermind" sounds strange to myself and others. Another keyword, like "ask Convessa" would be awesome.

Was working fairly well but now that Alexa discovered I am in Canada it stopped working and skill has disappeared. UPDATE:Yes got the skill back I deleted the alexa app, went to amazon website and changed country to United States, reinstalled the app and logged in. I then changed back to Canada on the Amazon website and all is good again. Thanks for the help!

Installing this to help my son who has recently been in a drastic accident and is visually impaired among other things. The staff for Mastermind are so awesome and get back to us so quickly. This app will make such a difference in his life as there is nothing else like it. I have a lot of research to do to help my son so I'm glad I found this one so quickly.

The concept was decent and could have been of some use to folks that were unable to manipulate or otherwise physically incapable of reaching their phone. For anyone able to do these things, this was more or less a novelty. The only use I ever found for it was asking what the notification I just missed was, and I had to ask in such an absurd way that I would never get it quite right, leading to frustration. I never did get use out of the call feature - I hate that I spent all that time trying to get contacts into a proper format for it. Most of my attempts to even show off the calling feature ended with an error message. I paid the developer to skip the wait-list and, while I don't regret funding something that has the potential to help people with a handicap, I can't say I got my money's worth. Regardless of whether I liked it or not, though, it and the related skill have been rendered moot. Alexa can now make calls - just set it up.

I waited and got the app free in just a few days. Glad I waited and didnt pay! The thought of this app is great. It just doesn't do me any good. My Alexa can do everything without this app. I don't have Chromecast anywhere in my house so that part is worthless to me. I use roku and Amazon Fire, which Alexa can control too. The only thing worth while was the "ring my phone" feature. Deleting the app to open up more memory for my phone.

Mastermind is a great concept, however I am a fairly disappointed in the app for one reason. The only reason I got this app is so Alexa could read me my notifications on my phone. However, every time I ask Mastermind to "Read my notifications" she replies with "The notification system is temporarily unavailable. It should be available again in a few days". The problem is, it has been almost two weeks! Alexa is still not able to read me my notifications. It is unfortunate because I have been constantly waiting " a few days" but nothing has happened.

Have downloaded app also along with Alexa app in same google account , even its not working , it says i don't that. . . After watching video i need to try this app also buy instant access but not working also can't find solution to sort the issue.

So you advertised the skill as being able to work with app based "Alexa" for instance "Ultimate Alexa" on the play store but I have tried so many different times to get it work with many different apps and I simply can't figure it out. Any tips guys?

Every time I try to get my notifications it tells me.that the notification services are temperaraly unavailable and will be back up in a couple days and that's been a week or.more

I dont want this app anymore I need a refund back

I purchased this app in India and its not working with my alexa..... Either tell me how to configure this app or do a refund

Installed app but couldn't install the Amazon Alexa app on my 5.1 android smartphone.

Please update to ask mastermind to call someone on speakerphone. At last GREAT APP!

Ahhh I had downloaded app and Alexa dot says I don't have it.... DELETING!!!

One of the best integrated Alexa skill Apps.

It's the only app that could confuse call Miriam with call Peter Baker. It will even get close with what it thought it heard so it will say you said Miri did you mean Peter Baker. Absolutely awful app

Most of the stuff that it does I really don't care about. Why do I need to ask Alexa to start navigation when I'm not even home with my Alexa device. Who takes their Alexa device with them when I can just OK Google? The only thing I like about it is the casting to Chromecast however it doesn't really give you much information

B.S. Alexa not available in Canada. I'll take my business to the competition Google Home. They have far better reviews anyway.

I gave the app all the permissions it needs do I need to keep it on my phone for it to work with the echo?

So you have this ad for this cool app. Make people download it without telling them you have to pay way too much money for it or be on a wait list. Give the app permission to everything on your phone and then it does absolutely nothing unless you pay for it or sit on a wait list which I'm sure you sit on for the rest of time unless you pay the rediculus 15 bucks for a beta. Wow this is about text book definition scam.

It does work fine however, It's time to delete it now because now amazon echo and Google can now make phone calls and echo can text too. So that makes this app useless and I don't even have to say, mastermind, which was ridiculous.

Every time i try to make a phone call it says you're phone did not respond in time not sure if it's to do with locked screens i think some more information would be good

It takes forever to get it to understand what to do. Then it confirms what to do. Then it says "I'm not sure what to do". This happened on every text and call I tried to make

It worked, but after the latest updates it does not "see" my phone anymore

To bypass the waitlist I purchased the app paid my $15 and got nothing!!!!

Very impressed with this app. Allows completely hands free calling/messaging via Alexa, along with message, calendar, status and battery monitoring. Any shortcomings are down to Alexa's cloth ears and Artificial Intelligence - but will improve over time. Restricting your favourite contacts list helps with name recognition. A godsend to anyone with mobility problems. Still in beta, but great potential.

Love everything about it except dictating texts to Alexa. At the time I tried to dictate, I tried several different ways of phrasing my message. All were met with "Did not recognize as a message." The one time it took my message, the one it sent was... not quite right. Interestingly enough, when I checked History in the Alexa app afterwards, all the failed messages were the ones that Alexa herself understood perfectly ("i picked up your mail"). They just didn't bridge over to Mastermind for whatever reason. Great skill and app with a lot of room for improvement.

Most skills for Alexa are mildly entertaining at best, but this adds real usefulness and productivity to Alexa. Amazon should buy it outright and incorporate it into Alexa! Thank you devs for leading the way to skills with real substance. I look forward to the finished product and can't wait to see what you come up with next!

I'm a bit of an unusual user I think. I'm not into Social media very much. I think if I was this app would be the ultimate app to have and you would never ever want to let it go. As a basic "middle aged " lady who just loves having her phone as a 'companion and also wants it to be very safe to use at all times such as when driving a nd something very important comes thru etc. Then this app certainly is the app to handle that totally. I've tried most of the "assistant apps", finding vast faults in each of them when it comes to reliability when you ads in the safety factor and reliability etc. At first I thought this was going to be the same, I rated it 3 stars. Now I'm at 4 stars. As I continue to learn and experiment with Mastermind, put it to my list of must have safety issues, I think Mastermind is going to be the very first to hit 5 stars from me. I'm not very technical, I'm not considered to be any type of expert by any persons definition. I'm just plain and average. But even plain and average people have things that are important to them. I believe that although I won't be using a lot of of Masterminds features, as long as it keeps doing as well as it is on the ones that matter to me then it's a wonderful app. Thankyou, I hope to come back and dad that 5th star soon. Oh, I promise not to bore you with any more of my writing! I'll just dad the star! Thanks again!

Work at tattoo shop see hundreds of people a month don't know anybody on this app when they take me off the waitlist I will be able to tell everyone about it
