Wish Local - Buy & Sell

Okay app. No bugs but I noticed One: items that are within 1 mile of me are items posted months ago and recent ones are well over an hour and a half from me, really pointless on the "local" side. Two: there is no way to filter other than adding in an address point and again, pointless for the "local" claims of this app. Three: not a whole lot of private sellers, mostly commercials selling their store items

make it easier bc. It hard to get the things u n they are three or four town or city way n u want to buy it n to many days long of when the post it n u don't know if they sold it or not n to find things to look when it show u things I didn't even tip in.. fix that then you are doing great

Most, if not all the people that showed interest in buying items were NOT local and very anxious to get my phone number and address... Or cleverly would ask me to text them quick if the item is still available... Luckily I knew better, but caution to others selling items on this site

If you're shopping for something like a parking lot or a new game for your system fine. This could be a good app for something such as that. I strongly recommend not answering any ads or leaving your personal information regarding big purchases such as cars Etc. Perhaps which can monitor it a little better it is loaded with skins I literally just came across 15 in a row.

Everything on here does not update and it shows the same things over and over everytime i get on here like with the vehicles for sale. Wish local sends me notification that new cars were posted near me, but when i log onto thw site i still see the same cars that were for sale posted 1 year ago, or 9 months ago. Its the same with cell phones or anything. Its just like nobody takes care or maintains this site. BAD FOR BUSINESS!!!

It's horrible. As soon as I posted something to sell, all I got were people wanting me to email or text them to get my personal info and NONE of them were local to me!! Don't download this app! I use OfferUP and LetGo and have had no issues there. Can't sell anything on this app. Absolutely annoying!

Do not download alot of fake adds trying to scam you. Tried selling something and had alot of people aaying they would buy and pay through paypal. Accepted one offer then recieved money the day i was going to send item they reverced payment. And still expected me to send item and tryed saying i was misstaken and the money was not reversed. Again DO NOT DOWNLOAD. Untill major updates are made.

Literally every single message I got was from a scammer. Everything I wanted to purchase was already gone because its been a year since they were listed. So no filter system for thieves and scammers. And posts do not fall off or get auto deleted. Bad app for selling and buying.

Searching feature is not working. When you type in to search for an item, it would have a list is drop down items but when you click show results, NOTHING pops up. It keeps saying that is not able to find result. Worthless search Frasier if you ask me.

This is the worst app for selling your things. I've used it for about a month or so. And every inquiry to buy something I was selling, was either a scam or a robot.. And it's easy to tell. Considering 5 people who supposedly live in 5 different states, all had the same phone # and word for word opening msg... It's a waste of time. DON'T DOWNLOAD!!

There are so many people running scams on this app and trying to send fake check, fake money transfers and fake Paypal emails that its not funny. On this one post at least 4 people have tried to scam me out of my phone. You people need to beef up security when it comes to the type of people you allow on this app by making the signup process more secure. This app gets a really low rating from me do to the scammers that are on here. As I said out of the 6 offers that I got 4 where people trying to scam me.

Scary app!!! Full of scammers from around the world. Never use this. You will get tons of messages. These are not real buyers. Just to get your information. Someone said they sent the payment to my PayPal account. I received a spam email too. I contacted PayPal and forwarded the email to them. Even if you list your items from all the info.you will get messages asking to contact them through your email.. Man.... have never seen such an app full of scam!!! BE CAREFUL!!!

Let me tell you why I deleted this app after one day: it's so full of spam and fraudulent accounts, that after 5 spammers within a few hours I just got fed up. This doesn't happen in LetGo or the other apps. Good luck with your spammers!

Only 2 inconveniente are: 1) I need to add pictures one by one instead of 4 or 5 at the same time in the order I click them. 2) M must exist a Listing Menu to check all the things I'm selling. Please do an update and include this improvals.

I have all quality power tools & other high end tools, very good stuff. ALL I've received are scammer type inquires- WASTES MY TIME!! I MSG'D CUST.SUPPORT BUT NEVER HEARD BACK!! I'M GIVING THIS APP 2 THUMBS DOWN & SUGGEST USING "Letgo" or "Offerup" that is if you don't want to waste your time & if you want to make sales or buy from a trusted source! I've been selling & buying for years so I'm NOT new to this game! WISH- LOCAL BRING IN REAL BUYERS!

LOVE IT! In my opinion it's even better than let go and offer up; however, there is so many SCAMMERS. Be very careful when people try to send checks through the mail...they are trying to steal from you! If there was a better regulation somehow with that then I would give this app 5 stars no problem.

When searching, I like that results come up as you type, but if you hit enter, it gives no results. Also the location is odd. I don't live in a very dense area, so I'd like a search by city or zip. There are better apps. However, I like that I can see other states' items since I'm open to ship

If you are selling on this app beware of scam buyers. They will ask you to email them and give your full name, address, and phone number to mail you a check. Do not cash the check. It will bounce and they will leave you at a loss of your money and your product.

Wasn't able to complete a transaction with someone after we had confirmed. Most likely what happened was that the person marked the item as sold, the item eventually got deleted which ended up erasing our chat. And since the only way to contact someone on Wish Local, no matter if you know their name, is to find an item they are selling and from there chat with them. Next time, make sure you get their contact info and don't rely on the stupid apps to keep the chat until you confirm when and where to meet.

full of scammers, i received a check from somebody and then i began receiving text messages from several phone numbers claiming to have sent it to me for several items im selling. i would suggest you don't download it because people are just taking advantage of this app. be careful if you download it.

Very user unfriendly, contacted their support twice about options to set up a direct debit. I have people requesting to buy my clothes but no option to sell to them?! they kept replying with advice on how to BUY clothes rather what I actually asked

I've been so busy listing my artwork on all kinds of other sites so I only listed 5 here. Just checked in and I may have sold 3 of them!!! Awesome!!! I have great products but haven't found the right platform... Until now hopefully!!! * Nevermind it was a scam I think. Still for sale.

I had an item removed that did not break any of the sites selling rules. For this stunt alone im deleting my account and ill use Letgo instead. They don't randomly remove items for sale just for fun.

I really like this site.as well as wish international.theres only 1problem I've had with wish international. I ordered a 4k ultra it TV box. And it came without the instructions or remote. I emailed them begging them to please send THOSE item's!!. I bet I sent about OR at least 12 emails!!. IT seems they couldn't understand What I was talking about!. I KEPT GETTING your refund will be put back into your account,or if you received the wrong item we will replace it,or color etc.NI MATTER WHAT I COULDN'T GET T

This app is a waste of time. I sell a lot online. In Wish I've only received two hits on items and both hits asked me to email them on a private email. They did not want to communicate in the Wish app (cause that's not weird at all). The last straw was when I posted some brand new Bath & Body Works product! 3 bottle for $20. Yes, maybe high...but, not on the prohibited items list, not outrageously priced, own photos and it was removed. Im done, waste of time. Use Mercari, or anything else for that matter!!!

Took down my items due to "to high priced" I worked long and hard to get my plants in the size and shape they are in and should receive what price I asked. Having someone offer me $10 for a Boston Fern in an 18" pot in great condition is not unfair. Go to a nursery and see what prices are for LARGE PLANTS! I will post my things on other sites. I don't like the fact that it put your address right on there and then if you change it it takes you way the hell out somewhere. That's not something that makes you feel real comfortable. Just anybody can pop up at your house!

I think that there should be a way to be able to get more mileage to where you're selling from. I can't get it to show anywhere past 1mi from where I'm selling. It is very annoying that I can not get more people to see what I'm trying to sell because I can't get it to post past a mile. I can't change it. Please fix this problem A.S.A.P.

I downloaded 4 buy/sell apps wish local, 5miles, letgo and offer up. I you go with one app for buying and selling DO NOT GO WISHING LOCALLY! SCAM ATTEMPT AFTER SCAM ATTEMPT. GOING IN WITH A LOCAL APP IN MIND I DIDN'T THINK offerup would be the standout but, its easy and works like it says it does let go comes in a slow second.offerup that's my 2 cents

Read reviews/used app. I live in Indiana not Illinois. Most searches show up in a town way out of my area. No way to see how many people have seen it. Too many reviews of scammers. Will never give my cell number or email to anyone. If you can't us Ron app messaging just don't use app. Use let go or offer up. Have both of those and love them.

If they could put things in order, you look at clothing not car's or part Plus it has not sold and you keep telling me to Mark it sold. But it isn't. I like that you can rate everything and write a review like offer up and wallapop. Just too many scam artists is on it and you got a console and check to make sure that your item hasn't ended. Also it's very annoying when they send you messages saying if you sold your item Mark it sold if I sold my item it would be Mark sold. You can add a lot of photos which is a nice thing

Idk if its me or my stuff or what but I can't sell any if my stuff and I'm like really needing to badly. And the worst is this isn't the only app im having issues with. I know for a fact I'm not asking too much for my things and its all great stuff that's been taken great care of. So I'm sure its not the app in general but it hasn't done me any good at all.

I live in a big city and when I browse my areas I'm done in less than 5 Mins bcuz no one else uses it. I'm removing the app. Pointless, can't sell anything and they kept taking my make up posts down. Really???

They randomly unlisted item, nothing even remotely prohibited & refuse to give reason,just smart alec replies. Issue never resolved. Other apps much easier to use & you get more offers.

These apps are great. Only problem is so many idiots on here selling items for way more than their value or higher than retail price. Stop thinking ppl are paying those prices for your high priced crap!

The only filter option on this app was to change my location. Posts on stuff I was interested in were from 3 to 6 months ago and no options to filter latest to older posts or distance from my current location. Pretty much useless to me at the time and waste of time digging for posts...

There are various things with this site/app that I find unpleasant or not convient especially compared to competing sites. I do not list many items on this site compared to the others. The most annoying is that after I mark items sold, they stay in same place mixed in with active ones. For people who sell a large amount, it makes it messy, confusing and time consuming. Also alerts i get to "mark an item sold" just because I get an offer. many buyers are not genuine and never end in actual sale on sit
