دائرة التنمية الاقتصادية

تأسست الدائرة الاقتصادية في 3 يناير 1995 بموجب المرسوم الأميري رقم (1). وفي ذلك الوقت، كانت تعرف باسم "دائرة التنمية الاقتصادية في أم القيوين". و في 27 ديسمبر 2009، بمباركة من صاحب السمو الشيخ سعود بن راشد المعلا حاكم أم القيوين، تم تغيير اسم الدائرة إلى "دائرة التنمية الاقتصادية" تمت إعادة صياغة مهامها أهدافها لتلبية التغييرات في القطاع الاقتصادي ووضع ودفع جدول الأعمال الاقتصادي أم القيوين.
