About MEC Multiple Exposure Camera

Taking gorgeous photos using long exposure technique with big DSLR cameras and ND lens maybe fun, but you can achieve more or less the same with just your mobile photo and MEC Multiple Exposure Camera!

MEC Multiple Exposure Camera enables you to shoot photos in intervals and then combine them to mimic the effect of multiple exposure / long exposure. Refer to the photos here for some samples of what you can do with MEC Multiple Exposure Camera. e.g. ghost photo, calm sea, smoothened waterfall, reducing noise under low light condition (Night shooting)...

MEC Multiple Exposure Camera can now blend photos from gallery too! You have the option to shoot photos and have them blended together, or to blend photos which you have previously taken.

- Interval shooting
- Long exposure
- Multiple exposure
- Noise reduction
- Night shooting
- Blend multiple photos

Nexus 5 was used in taking the sample photos

** Note: Ensure your mobile stands still before shooting. Fix it on a tripod, lean on wall/window/etc, or make your own a simple mobile stand with instruction available at https://www.facebook.com/conslazy. Same logic as you have to fix your DSLR camera for shooting any long exposure photos, or very likely you cannot get a sharp image by hand-holding the camera.

** App crashed? Try killing all camera applications, or even reboot your mobile, then start MEC again. Still not working? Email us at conslazy@gmail.com and we will help.

** "~0s" interval doesn't work? Try with "3s" for the time being. This will be enhanced in a future release

You can also find a card-size mobile stand there too.

Enjoy easy long/multiple exposure shooting. =)

What's Changed
New features
- "Color" blending mode, which mimic the effect of taking multiple exposure with red/green/blue filters in rotation. (Ideally you only take/import 3 photos)
- "Add" blending mode, which mimic the effect of the original multiple exposure. While the ultimate photo may get over exposed easily, you can get pretty cool photos with different techniques. e.g. intentional camera movement

I've been looking for a replacement of iOS Average Cam Pro app on my Android for years. This app finally comes close. Strange interface, but it works. Fix 0s crash plz. 3s works fine. Note to developer, please look at features of Average Cam app. It allows you to change exposure after the fact (multiplier used for individual brightness during stacking). Thanks for your work!

Good app...but how do you select photos to import. The app crashed whilst processing so I tried to import the photos taken, but it won't allow you to select more than one photo with whichever app you try and use to import. Edit: I've been using the app for a couple of days now and find its results really good considering its a mobile. .. pity it's not being updated anymore as the interface and options need some work

Uninstalled this over a year ago because of the same reason. Saw that people have been getting some replies. So i figured id give it another shot... again disappointed!

Can you do in the next update wide 15.5M 5248x2952 and 8M wide 3840x2160 resolution? And focus options...infinity focus, focus lock...for every picture. (Xperia Z3 Compact)

The app is probably the best in terms of long exposure photos apps, but it keeps crashing at ~0s and actually this time between photos is essential for me. Please fix this as soon as possible.

Sad, that import doesn't work on jb. Also, missing the ISO settings, and manual exposure seems not to be working for me (I think it has something to do with the scenes). The last thing, I can't select my memory card, and it saves photos in my phone... Other than that, it would be a great app.

I request the developer to add post editing feature bcoz as of now if we are shooting we are forced to wait till the image is processed. This makes me miss the shots. In the field I would just like to shoot and want editing options weather I want the final image processing to be done just after shooting or later when I am back home this will make the app much more powerful. Also add white balance icons rather than 1234 as its difficult to remember. Exposure - /+ should be added of 0.3 /0.7 between each f/no

Wish it was a little better when it came to night time exposure. But devs are responding to complaints and fixing problems which is hard to find in an app nowa days

T70%

Exactly what I needed! The only android app I could find that will capture and blend multiple still shots with a selection of blending modes. Would be better to have better explanation of blending options. Can't work out what the icons are supposed to represent. Works fine on samsung note 12.2.
