Why is it, each time i open it i get one of those vibrating 'you have won a I phone'. Can't delete multiple emails because of the ads down the bottom you are unable to use those functions because it's hidden. Get rid of the ads and it will be easier to use. Hate using this app.

Please go back to the way it was before the update. Why fix something that is not broke? You've fixed it with a broken app. Please change back to the original.12/11/16 ok we've just received an update and nothing much has changed.Yes you can now delete individual enails after you have opened them but not multiple. Why oh why can't you just listen to the people and go back to the original??? Still hate it! 6/1/17 Still no better and what more it now doesn't work with my NBN. I have to turn Wifi off to use it

A very slow app which isnt very intuitive at all. Unfortunately as my main email account is with hotmail I'll have to make do with it. Please make vast improvements and to make it quicker and more user friendly by copying the template Gmail use. Also the attachment function doesn't work which is a pretty fundamental flaw. 2 stars is being generous.

I like Hotmail uk as it rarely freezes on me and is easy to use. I prefare it more than my other emails. Only problem is, I can't read a lot of my messages lately. But that is only happening now. Never has before.

I don't like the layout, there is no option to change the look /style of it :/ 5 No refresh button ... Attachment button doesn't work ... now, after writing this reviews, it stopped working

Another Microsoft failure, this app takes too long to open, it's hard to use and is difficult to organize and even open an email. The Hotmail version was a whole lot better.

Not connected to you phone buttons so when you hit "back" it prompts you to exit. You can't mass delete things either. It works, just not very well

The older platform was better to use ,i have been a hotmail,person for so many years im starting to wonder why plz loose the ads at the bottom on android as i cant get to the function buttons like trash and new,since this statement was made it seems to be fixed up thank you .

I used to enjoy this app, but recently the ads on the bottom of the screen start automatically downloading on my phone without me even touching near them. My phone will start high pitched beeping, claiming the entire phone is infected (it isn't). I'm done with this app...don't waste your time with it.

All it does is freeze and doesn't open emails. Lags massively when it decides to actually work. It used to work fine till an update screwed the whole thing up. Update, now it tends to not want to open emails. When it goes to the open email all it shows is a white screen. Also I notice Hotmail never replys to any of the complaints. To the app creator's, get you're stuff together and fix this junk app

I truly dislike the outlook interface and especially on mobile. It's not that it's only something different and new that I'm not used to, it's just plain downright terrible!

Dislike the way of deleting messages would be easier if I could delete a lot at one time Does not show how to get information about hotmail on how to use it. It's nice to have available though.

:((( Really??? Why you changed the gui. If i wanted to see it like this i would download outlook apk. And its much slower now. After some years of using it i must uninstall it :(

Why does the format change?? What you are showing here, n then I install it and it looks nothing like this...why?? I still love this app, just wish you could add, edit or eliminate personal folders! It's 2016...get with the program! Lol. Desktops are just about phased out anyway, so...just make an app that does ALL necessary functions instead of just most of them without the need of a desktop. The app sucks after the latest updates. Connection is very slow now and the way to delete emails became more difficult. I don't like the design either. The app was very good and fast before December. I think everyone prefer the older version.

Incredibly annoying app. Tap on an email and it decides you want the multi select option instead of entering the email to read. Want to go back from an email and you end up clicking 10x before it does anything (no it isn't the internet connection). Want to clear your junk box or deleted items.... Nope can't do it without selecting each individual. All in all a poor app don't get it!!!

Terrible update. Less emails viewable at once, pain in the butt to delete and worst of all I can't open my emails.

....you need to improve a lot, and adapt to android platform better. Please note excuse. It's is unacceptable for this team not deliver an excellence job. This application needs to satisfy all the customers needs. We're in 21century.

Updated on my other tablet and my phone and there is no box to tick and it doesn't recognise my email address or password, do you not want me to access my emails after 15 of using hotmail or is it because I gave the new update a bad review saying that I preferred the old version?

I'm not even getting to log in, it don't even have a check box, if this was meant to be updated to make life easier well it's not.

Keeps telling me I need to click a nonexistent box to agree with the new terms. Can't click to agree with what isnt there so now I can't log in. App worked great a few updates ago and has slowly gotten worse. Now cant use it at all so im forced to have to try to remember everything I signed up to receive emails from with and change it to my new gmail account (that works great). Dont waste your time on this and get gmail or yahoo mail.

This is my second time writing a review for this because I feel so strongly that this is now an utter piece of c**p to use! There is already an ad bar at the bottom of the screen but it still directs me to Google play without my say so which is just so annoying when trying to send emails! Also still can't delete multiple emails and I have to open an email to actually delete it! And I can't scroll down far enough to view what I'm typing if my email exceeds just a few lines! Waste of time. Deleted forever!

Everything about it is slow and harder to use. There was nothing wrong with the previous version of the app. The old version was very user friendly. Please go back to the old way! Change is not always better.

Ok it was updated now I can't use it even with the password I have always used..I need to be able to access stuff I have saved and get it done ASAP

I do still like the Hotmail app; but the format change just made no sense. Especially losing the ability to group delete messages. Doing it individually makes it a complete waste of time! At least when you're able to check multiple boxes, the delete function should be there. Figured there'd be an update that corected that; but so far nothing..

Unable to to access my emails? You used to be so good. Now I can't get my emails, can't sync them, nothing. I guess I'm going to go with Gmail from now on.

Is not consistent, deleting emails process is a horrendous, selected 25 msgs to delete, press delete, msgs not deleted, frustration and time consuming.

How do I uninstall update... Updates are suppose to improve an app not ruin it. Very disappointed... Can't open emails.

Hard to read, a real inconvenience to have to delete each email individually. Garbage. Won't load. It now takes 15-30 min to check my mail, if I can check it at all!

It's absolutely awful. Can't get into emails or delete multiples. Put it back how it was asap. HATE IT !!!

Awful! Can't page from one email to the next. Takes several tries to delete email from front screen. Graphics won't load. I use for work and might need to switch emails after 20 years with Hotmail. Change it back!

Deletion of emails is a bit of a pain. What you've selected to be deleted is undone as soon as you scroll. Otherwise it's a good app

Have updated the app and now i can't access any emails. Log in and i am presented with a blank screen

Very easy to use, ideal whilst out and about! Hated the update as it stopped working, Uninstalled it and works fine at the moment. No major problems.

Most times when I open the app it says there's an error and that hotmail is "currently" having problems. The few times it does work, it is extremely slow and won't open all emails.

There is no select all or empty junk mail or delete all trash Options. I do not like this app. I may have to find another app to check Hotmail from or stop using my Hotmail account. Not satisfied at all

Don't change what has been working fine all this time. Just wondering does anyone from Hotmail customer service read this as all the reviews say the same damn thing.

Absolutely crap, after it updated I couldn't even open my emails, I could see that I had a new email but not open it. So I uninstalled it and then installed it again now I can't even sign in. It just keeps loading. Change it back it always worked before

Every since the update i cannot even view e coupons or anything... Not to mention the app is slow. This app is complete garbage
