CONNECTED WATCH

This watch is frustrating to say the least. It won't connect with anything that I own. I sent off a request to the service desk and have gotten nowhere with getting the Cogito Classic to connect. I would recommend going with a different device. There seems to be a lack of foresight on a device that needs to connect with Bluetooth to update when it needs to be updated to connect with Bluetooth.

I have a samsung galaxy s5 and i am trying to connect my cookoo watch but it is not working. I have check online for solutions and i have tried some of them but it doesn't work. I really like the watch and i really look forward to using it so please help me solve this issue. I will rate it a five if the problem is solved.

Have a v1 that worked on my S5 but not my Pixel. Company assured me the v2 would work and it does not. Support is no help at all. Waste of money and time dealing with this company and this brand. App also caused bluetooth connectivity issues with my 2016 Veloster Turbo infotainment system. Edit after support response: No. Connecting to an older device does not work. No update is performed. Left it connected for two days. Watch still only connects to my Pixel but sends no notifications. All permissions are set. Not compatible with Android 7 at all.

Im using my lg g4 to connect to my cookoo v1 and I can't get it to connect at all. I just got this watch so it would be a disapointment if i had to return it. Ill give u 5 stars if this issue can be resolved. Thank you.

I have a Samsung S6 Edge and the watch refuses to connect. I have upgraded the software and the watch intermittently works but it then refuses to connect after a few minutes. Status is always Paired but not connected as the watch is not in range. And the best part...your support desk replies to my query asking if I don't hv the Bluetooth switched on my apple device...Really!!!!

The app works great.. Maybe a bit old fashioned looking now... Can't update to the latest firmware on the watch. Trying to find a friend with a old android version is near impossible.

I have a S7 & unfortunately updated the cookoo 2 watch thru it (Android 6). It worked fine until I updated to Android 7 Nougat. Now I don't get notification for text message on the watch. Only calls show up. I also tried repairing & reinstalling the app but to no avail.

apparently i'm not the only one who cant connect. i got a big problem. Watch pairs with my galaxy S7. Running android 7.0 nougat. Shows in bluetooth menu. Go to Cogito app. click lower left icon. next page then says paired, not connected. it tries to connect. successful 50% of the time. Then look at watch. shows broken link. Go back to bluetooth menu and watch is gone! have to repair it over and over. This is BS. I need someone from the co. to get in touch with me. this is not satisfactory. The suggestion of updating software on android 5.0 or below is not an option. I no longer have 5.0, and what do you think, i have a couple of extra androids or iphones lying around that are 5.0? That is the stupidest idea i have ever heard. unless you have a fix that i can work on 7.0, i'm returning this POS.

At first use with sony z1, this is a great app. But after use lenovo vibe shot, app always disconnect. I will give you 5 star if you can solve the problem..

Update. After getting a new phone, a Moto G5 plus, the app and watch now seem to be working fairly well. Back to four stars.

I recently bought the cogito smartwatch for my android phone and I noticed there is 3 command spots but you're only able to assign the watch to find your phone. Maybe use the other 2 commands to open your camera app on your phone. Or open ypur music app then skip songs forward and backwards when in your music app like how you can play and pause it. Just a thought....

Can't reconnect on Android 6.0+ Update: Thank you, it's working again now. Fortunately one of my family members have phone with Android 5+ otherwise wouldn't be easy to fix problem. One additional thing I had to do on my phone to deal with reconnection problem is allowing background location for this app.

It does the job, maybe we could have more phone functionality via the watch as opposed to play and pause music. Otherwise I'm pretty happy

This is just a piece of crap. No way to make it up and running on neither iOS nor Android. Don't buy watches from this brand.

Everything works with my Huawei P9 Plus except for call notification. I tried with my wife's s5 and everything working fine. Hope support team will resolve it for me .

NOTHING WORKS. The watch just doesnt seem to connect with my phone. I have an s6 edge. I updated it using an ios device and it still doesnt pair with my phone. Please help!!!

Watch is good but i have problem with call notification not shown on my phone app and watch I already mailed u but no reply

I'm using 7.1.1 android by cyanogen and wont connect, and trying using the 4.4.4 the watch can connect but wont update why? Prefer I use the 7.1.1 for everyday use in advance.

Want it to work but cant get phone to connect properly. I am using LG G3 and dont have a device to try and update with a older ios. Update* worked once i updated with my daughters iphone so i could update watch software. Works well now

At first i was so disappointed with this app coz it wont connect to my watch. But after i updated my watch using ios version, it connects smoothly and works amazing on my android phone...

Still waiting for feedback on this issue.... Just one issue. On my Samsung S7 incoming calls dont show, just missed calls. It worked fine on my old Samsung S6. Any advice? I own Cogito Classic. Any news on this issue?

I received Android 7.0 yesterday and have not been able to connect my watch since. Will Cogito Classic support Nougat anytime soon?

Everything is perfect. Exactly what I want it. One thing I can't figure out when the watch is not connected how to stop the app? I mean the icon in the notification bar .

Awesome! I would gave given a 5 but the process of getting the watch to update is a handfull. Great product and perfect CS. Keep up the good work guys!

Running nougat on nexus 6. In not getting any phone notifications. Checked all settings. Other notifications work.

I own a LG g5 and every time i turn it on this app put the phone on silent. Took me one week to figure it out. Finnaly i uninstall the app and the problem was solved (the phone turn on normaly on sound). After that i reinstalled it and it did the same thing (put the phone on silent after restarting). I tryed all the app settings but i couldn't fix it. Could you help me please? Thank you very much.

I previously tried in vane to get the watch to update the firmware. Finally the supplier got it updated, now working fine on my Samsung Note 5 with Android 6. Prefer option to keep vibrations on, even if it means shorter battery life. Mail notifications not showing, but this is same issue with other wearables, not sure why...

If you don't want to spend $300 on a real smart watch but want to have a nice looking one, definitely go for this watch. I love it. You can control the music, read messages, get notification on Snapchat, Facebook etc.
