Southwire has created this great tool to help electricians, engineers and contractors answer the question, “What size conduit do I use” per the NEC®, includes fill percentages and jam probability. If you do not have the NEC book handy or do not want to spend time manually calculating the Conduit Fill %, this is the right app for you.
The app provides quick and easy navigation. Enter the Conduit Type and Size and specify your conductors. The App will calculate the Conduit Fill % as per NEC Guidelines.

Why does this app want to access the network and have full network connection? It tried to send personal data from my device. What data are you attempting to "share"? This app does NOT have any other permissions, so why do you need to access the Internet? Specifically, I mean.

I know 3 250mcm wires are way more than 19% fill in a 2 in. Conduit.

App has a problem when you ask it to calculate conduit size everything is 4". 9 #12's 21/2 inch needs work. If you need to know about what you have installed not a bad app, if you want to know size to run get your code book.

It does work great on Iphone, but does not work at all on android. All of the calculations are incorrect on Android.

Tried telling me that 2 #14 wires are >120% of the space in a 3/4 pipe. Something either very wrong or app is just very user unfriendly

I have a note 4 and thus app crashes when I enter the wire diameter on user defined wire. Unusable.

All I need is an app that will tell me how to size my conduit. Having to add 17 values before it will compute conduit fill is ridiculous. Way too complicated. Make it so you add fewer values and then if you need more conductor sizes you can add them.

Use electrc nec calcs lite instead. Its also free and works way better. Instead of you telling it what size pipe you are gonna run, you put in what all wires you need and tells you what size pipe you need. Much more practical. AND I AGREE...MIKE B--you must be work for the developers... All that and only 30 something %fill... Lol.. Yea right

This helped me figure 39.1% fill for existing 1" PVC with 4 #8, 3 #10, 8 #12, and 2 #14. I wish I could enter my wires and have it tell me smallest conduit with less than 40% fill. As is you must enter conduit and wires, then it will tell you fill %.

It doesn't give any calculations for NM cables. I know they aren't normally in a conduit, but there are occasions when you need to run one through conduit.
