The National Association for Public Defense is an inclusive and collaborative grassroots movement of public defense professionals dedicated to bringing meaningful access to justice for poor people. Our members provide direct public defense services – as lawyers, investigators, social workers, IT professionals, paralegals, administrators, leaders or other experts – and are directly engaged in the organization, making NAPD an effective voice for change.
