Cardozo School of Law

The Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law is the law school of Yeshiva University, located in the New York City borough of Manhattan. The school is named for Supreme Court Justice Benjamin N. Cardozo. Cardozo's success as a young school has been remarkable. Among the top 100 law schools, only two schools are younger than Cardozo, which opened its doors in 1976.

While Cardozo is noted for its academic strengths in numerous areas of study, its Intellectual Property and Dispute Resolution programs are particularly well-reputed and consistently ranked within the top ten in the country by U.S. News. The school is also home to the Innocence Project, run by Cardozo Professor Barry Scheck, known for using DNA profiling to help free innocent prisoners.
