Port City Thrift Store

Port City Thrift, in Ladson provides a unique thrift store shopping experience for shoppers that want high-end customer service, a wide selection of products, and low thrift store prices.

We are not a consignment store and we don't accept donations. We own everything that we sell in our store, because 100% of our items for sale are hand-picked and purchased by us.

We specialize in used furniture, home décor, kitchen items, a few collectibles, the occasional antique, some odds & ends, all at thrift store prices.

We are based on a traditional resale store business model, and we've added a few upscale customer services, such as: free WiFi Internet access, Comcast TV viewing, easy-listening music, comfortable sitting area for reading, bi-weekly newsletter, and an app for mobile use, (it finds other thrift & consignment stores near your current location).

When Port City Thrift opened on April 3rd, 2012, we had 4 goals in mind:

• Have a large, clean store laid out so that customers can see, and easily find everything
• Unparalleled customer service with personality & appreciation
We do not sell clothes, toys, baby products, tools or large appliances,
you can find and buy those things at any other thrift store.

We also don’t have the feel of a large, corporate, non-profit thrift store, where the manager is not the owner, where employees or volunteers aren't friendly and/or don't make you feel welcomed, where donations of questionable quality are accepted and sold, sometimes regardless of the quality.
